Also, got a spare cowl from Dean yesterday. So I'm going to actually cut it, and run the snorkel thru it, and up. This will save me the hassle of removing and reinstalling the cowl, depending on whether the event has deep water.

Just home. Didn't find any deep water.
Ran the rock gardens, didn't have any issues. Ran two of the three steep, boulder'd hills. Again, didn't have any issues.
Very pleased with results. Everything mechanical worked great. No rubbing.
(I'll edit and name those hills/trails, when I remember what they're called) YELLOW JACKET & BIG ROCK (aka Cooper Canyon), did not try Anarchy

Things NOW to fix; CB radio only recieves, won't transmit. Wash (it got dirty).

Jeeptech1 and his son were there, did a great job spotting for me. Took some video. I'll link it, when he downloads it.

Steering seems to be amazingly average, spectacularly normal, fabulously familiar. In other words, it got tight a couple times in the rock hills, but felt the same as when I had 37s.

So I was a dumbass, and the CB problem was due to a dynamike turned to low.

Now, it's wait for Jeeptech1 to get the video youtubed.

I found it very different than normal jeeping. This is the first time, I wore a true 4 point harness for the entire trip. My norm is to bob and weave to gain visibility. However I couldn't do that with a tight harness, so I really had to rely on a spotter, for stuff I would normally have done myself..

Also, wore the helmet for the entire time. Really weird. I found it effected my hearing more than anything else.

Ahhh should of went to the right at the top. That's where it gets tricky. Looks like the jeep is going good though. Sounds good too. Got any V8's laying around? :redneck:

I was following my spotter..... but you're right. Should have gone right. No extra engines laying around, except for the one in my garage. And I'm afraid I'll hydrolock my current engine & need that one. Ask me in 2 months.

Tires did good. It's REALLY difficult, for a 'trails' guy, like myself, to be strapped into that seat. I'm so used to looking out the door, windshield, etc to see what I'm up against. It's very very hard to be strapped in. And it's also 'odd' to wear a helmet. We tried to leave them on as much as possible, to get used to wearing them.
 
Yep they're waterproof. If you mount it inside you wont break it. I'd let you use mine but I just got the new HD2 and haven't even really tried it myself. If it's going to get broken I want it to be me. :redneck:
