Check that spool for runout and concentricity.

Why all the crap. Just let him build. 14s hold up pretty stellar for almost everyone.

I don't see that anyone has give him any crap (yet).

He's building an axle with a super ****ing high dollar set of shafts (big bell RCV).. With the intention of eliminating breakage I'd assume.
So running what looks to be a second hand used Yukon spool is not exactly what I'd bet my pennies on if I were the one dropping the $. Especially since Will races and travels A LOT apparently.

And yes, I realize that the driveshaft looks to be one of those high dollar High Angle Driveline shafts... But it's still just pto shaft :spin:

Im not starting any crap, Im just asking why if there is a front end issue and your starting over from scratch, why not go all out and have a bullet proof axle, and yes a 14 does hold up well to most everyone, i do agree with that

Everybody asking why not build this...Cause it's not your money or rig that's why. Let the man build his ****. :dblthumb:

If a bunch of you start giving people **** for asking questions in a build thread, then this place will get a gay as most of the "bolt on" forums.

I happen to like to know people's reasoning behind building what they build and having discussion about it. (If that person is willing to have said discussion, and if they are not, then they need to quit posting **** on forums)

Sounds like he's putting his money in the right place (big RCVs).

I'm interested as to what knuckles he goes with, and why someone would choose one brand over others. (Even if the reason is "Company XYZ gave me a hell of a deal, they are a valued sponsor of our racing efforts")

If you just want to look at pictures of stuff being built, go to Instagram :gtfo:

Whoa big guy, pump the brakes. I don't think that pointing out the fact that "it's just an old PTO shaft" and "Chinese Yukon spool" is a legitimate question about his build. I'm sure he's like the rest of us and he builds what time, money and accessibility will allow. A question would have been "why the Chinese spool over brand X" or "Why a PTO shaft instead of having a X brand shaft built". And FYI I prefer Pinterest over Instagram. :dblthumb:

This place is continually getting wrecked these days by people that do not understand how hardline has worked for years, if you don't have over a thousand posts think about what you are posting before you push the button. Why ask questions, because that's how **** works around here were just curious people, and want to learn different reasonings.

I think you are looking for something to be offended by. ::)

I thought that the question mark was self explanatory.

Will got it. and answered. and I gave advice to check the spool before running it... and then even justified my question to the peanut gallery. :dunno:

Anyway, looking forward to updates. and Tech.

Like inner axle seals, I'd assume Revolution 14 seals, but that is not always the case... more than one way to skin a cat, especially when you are on a budget. :dblthumb:

Not looking for something to be offended by as that's pretty much impossible for me. I apologize. Honestly maybe theres a lot lost in translation over the keyboard. Back to the tech :driving:
