What's the longest you have kept a rig?

Was looking back at some old pictures and realized I have had my Samurai over 8 years. Seems like some people are always swapping and trading and others hang on to the same rig and just keep upgrading. What's the longest you have wheeled a rig?

I have had mine for about 10 years now. Just kept making improvements. Could never get the money back out of it and you can really tell how I have gotten better at fab work over the years.

When I bought it 10 years ago for somewhere around $700. It was hideous!

I'm not a rig swapper...I plan on keeping what I have till it breaks in half. And doing trails like I like....it should outlast my existence.

Think I'm going on 3rd year with this one. My other 2 rigs were cherokees and everyone knows those are disposable without tubing.

I ve Had this rig 19yrs. Happens to have been my vehicle 1st I ever owned. Paid 5k for it. Started like life as a 87 4runner. Did most of the work in high school in my auto mechanics class with the help of my teacher. I learned a lot from him. Very good man.

15 years. bought it brand new
first trip to moab. it was less than a year old

how it was right before it was totaled in a violent end of end

took many of those parts and now are in the buggy which we've had for 2 years and will keep forever!

I bought my samural in early 2009 and the second pic is from a couple weeks ago. So 8 years, I don't think I will be getting rid of this one ever.
