Pro Rock Stock Class XJ Build

Wanted the 9in pinion to be in the same spot as the dana 30 so measured pinion to wms offsets and went from there.Going for narrow as possible. So wms to wms came to 66in to clear the coil springs to meet pro rock rules of stock suspension. Will have to notch in to the center housing for the coil.Coils should clear the Cs by .625in.

I just got a chance to read through your whole build. Good job on that, I like it.

But mostly, congrats on the kiddo! She was actually born on my bday as well. My oldest is almost 14 now. All I can say is, spend as much time with her as possible when she's growing up, cause when she gets to be a teenager she will want to do other things instead.

Finally got the AX15 out and swapped in one from another jeep for smoother forward to reverse. And with that the MP241 out of the JKs was bolted up.Wider chain, planetary and 32 spline outputs.Barely clears the unibody but it fits:woot:

JK case is pretty legit.

Never really thought about it, I had always assumed it was an undersized or poorly engineered piece of junk to match the rest of the drivetrain...
I didnt either till I started building 1350 shafts for them at work. With a simple swap of yokes you can run 1310cv to 1350cv.But the 3.125x4.25bc I think I can make some 1410 flanges for the tcase side.

Stock , so far i has held up,but having the ability to go 1350 joints and that flange would make changing drive shafts so nice. I usually have to replace the 1310 u joints after each race which sucks.
I've been amazed at the abuse those stock case can take.

So the rubi case was bolt in on the trans side? 23 spl input?

I wish it was a rubi case but they go for $1500 plus. it's the sport case but yes is 23 spline same bolt pattern.I payed $50 from a friend that wanted it out of his way.Local yards sell them for $200 to $345.

Advanced sells a flange for atlas and 205 that fits the 32 spline SYE stuff after the seal surface is machined to 1.88in and the front flange off a 231 D dodge tcase has 1350 capabilities.
