bolted the fuel cell down using the 4 (weak looking) tabs with some rubber strips between the mounting tabs and the bars. Also made a clamp style brackets and bolted it down from the top. I have heard that the stock tabs just do not hold and will rip out in trail/rock rig.:D

finished building my battery boxes, they are still at about the same hight as when they were in the motor bay. I also bolted the tool box down and added a piece of .25" UHMW to the inside of the box to help protect the bottom from getting beat to death from parts. Also added the brake lights.:flipoff:

Daam thank goodness that spring break is coming up, between work, school, and working on rig life is a been busy. Maybe I will have some time to get some shiat done :looser: :booo:

:flipoff: :haha:

added a kill switch in the back and will also add another in the cab so I can get to it fro the drivers seat. Placed a lil pipe around it to protect it from rocks and what not. The wires cannot touch the tank even if it gets hit and bent over.

I don't know...that switch and little nerf bar look pretty damn heavy :flipoff:

Looks good.....That flat bar on top of the battery isn't going to come loose and short out the battery is it?

hope not, its tightend down real snug and locktited in place. That could ruin my whole weekend  :flipoff: .

started working on my brakes, using the rotors of a 77 chevy 3/4ton 4x4. My axles have screw in studs so I was able to mount the rotor to the inside of the axle flange. Which allowed me to mount it off the bearing race.
