I need ideas on my front I don't know if I'll be able to use the axle.......

How am I suppose to move the spring perch in when it's already against the diff any ideas will help a lot!!!!

Had a buddy that welded his front spring hangers on the outside of the frame and used the factory mounts on an old jeep, but I don't think you can move them. Here's a pic of my SAS on an 82 f150 for what's it worth.

Don't move the perch on the axle, move the hangers out on the frame

Heres how we did it, we used 52" springs mounted at the standard Chevy 32" perch center. We welded a piece of 4x4x1/4" square tube directly to the open end of the front frame rails after we cut the bumper brackets off. Then mounted the front spring hangers on that box tubing. With the 52" springs that put the rear spring eye in a bad spot to try to mount a shackle through the frame so we used spring sliders instead. If you wanted to, you could mount a shackle hanger under the frame rail where we put the slider boxes but that would put the truck way up in the air. Here are some pics since my description sucks.
