About how high will the front be when you are finished? That could be the difference in using a steering box and a full hydraulic steering setup. The stock saginaw pump will run full hydro as long as you have a good reservoir and cooler but is slow (off-road only).

I believe this thread honestly proves that us folks in the south arent assholes like most pirate fawks. Good to see someone doing a build, himself, learning and asking questions. Now if you can keep TBItoy and of course the others helping you with your questions you will be ok... I think. I really do want to be there for the first run. Should be fun. Or scary one! keep on keepin on man. like muddinmetal said.. Atleast u will have a rig right!?? .

I've never been on pirate but I've heard there's quite a few ass wholes on there especially when someone doesn't really know what they are doin down to the tea

Where does everyone think I should run my upper links from I'm kind of wing in the four link and if works then woo of not I get to work on it some more which I thinks pretty fun anyway

With the front axle stretched out that far forward youre going to have to go full hydro steering. Or you'll have to move the steering box forward toward the front end of the frame and add some bracing to strengthen the frame. I'd recommend you decide what you are doing on the steering before you decide on the upper links. Looks to me like you could shorten those lower links about 12" and still have them be plenty long. That would move the front axle back far enough you could run an Astro van steering box.

A little planning ahead right now can save you a lot of cutting apart later. Nothing worse than getting it all welded up and realizing you have worked yourself into an impossible situation and having to start all over.

A hydro steering system... Orbital, ram, cooler, lines.

Got me a hydro cylinder next step figureing where to mount it 2 in bore and 8 in ram
