Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

I'm by far anything close to being smart on link geometry. But I'm assuming you changed from 4 link to y link or 3 link ? Being that your lower are strait? If so what you thinking on a trac bar design? And where you gonna be wheeling this S dime at? Fer the first shake down

Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

Still not sure what I'm doing for the others links still some tweaking in the future probably be hittin smorr for the first ride it's about 45 min from the house

It looks high now, but just remember it will settle quite a bit when you add the weight of the drivetrain and front clip. The pinion angle may be a little off, but hey, it's a wheeling rig, right? :driving:

Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

Yeah I still have to set the pinion angle when I do my other links too

Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

Where the springs hit the axle should I tie those up some how where they don't seperate or just leave it where it can drop lower than the spring and when the axle comes back up it meets the springs

Spring perch. Or bucket.

Jeeps let em float. Doesn't work that great, but it works... Kinda.

Check out other builds and what works for them

Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

Feels like there's goin to be a lot of shot cramped up on my front end I have to figure out where I'm goin to run the shocks my other links and my steering situation not counting brake lines too suggestions are appreciated

Re:

In the future if you need to make it lower you can always build some spring buckets that come up beside the frame but agree that once motor and etc is in it will settle quite a bit.

Re: S10 build sas aka rasta truck

I'm think everything in it will set it down atleast 4 in
