so here is a question for all you guys i am running 79 d44 with the cast wedgies i dont have the $$ for 4 link yet so i am running the radius has anyone had any luck with heim's and extending them i'm running bushings now and if flexes decenct i can get 4.5 feet strait up under the front tire before it flops lol :fawkdancesmiley: yes i had to test it the hard way ......at work......on lunch.....for fun lol :haha: but that was with my 31's so yeah i have also thought about wristing the radius arm but still unsure i think all my plans for 4 link are gonna wait till next winter :booo:

I'm thinking that doesnt sound like a very good idea. I say quit worrying about hom much your rig flexes and just burl everything up so you dont have to worry about **** breaking like guetto fabbed radius arms

yeah i thats what i have also come to wait how did you know about the getto fabbed radius arms that like to rip and break lol i am king of trail fixes lol :fawkdancesmiley: anyways i order some heims so i am gonna suck the radius arm mounts up so theres not all that bulky ugly crap hanging down

started cleaning up the 9" got some designs worked out for the trussing i'm gonna try it in cardboard and see if it actualy works before i start cutting any steel.
One of the thoughts includes choping the bottom of the housing and welding in some 1/4/ or 3/8 armor but not sure yet i'm always open to suggestions

I would just leave it the way it is, unless you are sure on what kind of material you carrier is and can find the right rod to run with a stick welder and can run good stick.

Its for the 9" housing because its pretty thin, i think its like 1/8 if that.
I know i have groud the bottom of the housing over rocks, and i was trying to figure a way to add armor but not loose ground clearance
so maby i will just weld on a plate and loose some ground clearance

Hey man, I'd really like to follow your build, but it is damn near impossible to read because there's NO separation between sentences!!! Is it too hard to use some punctuation? Please!?:awesomework:
