Axle-Snappin'/Dirt Nappin' ....

Oh, so you don't know about the rack failing and it taking a nose dive off the front?:fawkdancesmiley::haha:Just kidding..... I was out there most of the day installing my corners. Your ride is looking pretty cool. Can't wait to get out there with ya.

****--sorry I missed ya Duckster! Here's to a summer of good wheelin'.....and dirt nappin'.:awesomework:

Naw, but we did threaten to all day!!! I was fresh outta paint though since painting your axles!!!:haha: here's a few pics of today's progress...
Got the rear shock mounts welded on; new front spring bolts and calipers/pads...etc... During the front axle install, I noticed the factory bump stop was tweaked pretty good!!! Hard to tell in the pics, but the frame was pushed in approx 3/8" where the bracket was welded onto the frame!!!:yikes: Kinda works out as the shock mounts needed relocating on the frame---so off came all the old crap!!! gonna plate the frame to prep for new shock mounts....

It's just paint....Went to the hardware store, bought "camo" colors. They're "ultra flat", three cans khaki, one green, one brown. Painted the whole thing khaki, grabbed a fern and some cedar bows, just misted over them with the brown and green. Dirt cheap stupid easy stencil for camo.
Patent pending of course:redneck:

Can't thank you enough for all your hard work, it's finally the kind of rig I wanted it to be......you know, one that spends more time one the trail than gettin fixed in the driveway.:haha: :awesomework:

 looks good time to go scratch it all up. so whats next that geo in the yard?
Unfortunately that Geo body is too far gone(rust) to really do anything with, plus it's pink (well, fucia)!!!:puke:...but it does have a good running 16V ifn' my 1.3L ever gives up the ghost!!:haha:

Dude I just want to wheel with ya:redneck:Scenerio used to go something like this...
*take off around 9, wheel for a bit, everyone hears a "snap", followed closely by "OOOOOHHHHHH SH%^&&!!!", followed again not too long after by uncontrolled laughter coming from the aformentioned "dirt napper2" which is now on its side, who noone could find due to the killer camo job performed by the one and only unclestripey!!!* :redneck::redneck::haha::haha:
the reason I wanted to help you get this swap done!!!
