RCV are 4000
Holy cow. Is that much of an axle shaft needed? How much wee power you talking. I have 630hp motor hanging out with the potential of 700 + all n/a without thinking about 4k in front shafts.

The point is be realistic when someone ask what it will cost. If RCV's are 4K alone you will be more than 10K.
Either way it will be a nice axle BUT expensive. You have to pay to play. molaugh

You can have 1000 hp that will never beak an axle if it never moves......

I'm not really even sure on prices my wife buys all my stuff anyway I'm just guessing really lol :rolf:

Well at least you are honest. :cougar:

I wanted to say.. Only reason I ask bout budget for this is cause I was thinking... Ok , if señior jake burkey runs a hp 60 and Yukon NOT rcv shafts and drives like he does.. This would mean that,
1. You could have a HP 60 in in half the time.. If not more than half.
2. Would be cheaper by far to grab a 60 and rock out with your sock out ..
A 14 bolt front is one thing I wanna build. But the thing I always see is there seems to be 248 different ways to do it! I see builds that are a "budget build" then I see 10k dollar 14 bolts. I know u can buy all the flashy **** and spend watever... But why not build a budget 14 front and put the other 6 thousand or so in something g else. Say, motor... Or whatever u wanna put it in. I'm not doggin your motor.. Hell I don't know a lot about motors. Seems to do ok from what I have seen. Just asking. Trying to figure this dam 14 front out dammit. Why so confusing to me?

You over think ****. JUST DO IT :****:

If you want one.

I personally think a 14 front is just because you want one unless you are killing 60 ring and pinions. Kush is right, if your not shelling our ring and pinions, why not just cut the knuckles off yours and change it to a kingpin style with taper bearings? Couldn't you just change your outter shafts at that point?

said earlier he broke 3 inner shafts and is limited to a 33 spline, at least with this set of shafts he's married to for warranty reasons. I'd think FX50 SD outers with big bell, huge drive flange elim stubs and 30 spline 14b inners and rock out.

Ha. at 4 g's I better NEVER have to use customer service. Ok so 4000 (or a nice little car) roughly on Rcvs, or ? What's the other option? Cause that's insane. 3200.. Ha. I'll go to bed thinkin about that. One saying keeps coming to mine when I think about this.. Something about having money and sense. Sheesh.

You can buy yukon blanks and have them resplined but why the hell would you build a 14 and run shafts that break in 60's?

Don't Yukon shafts come with a 10-year warranty? (That's essentially a lifetime warranty in buggy-years.)

Lifetime warrenty. IF you u run Yukon all the way. Shafts, joints, flanges. etc. you can get Yukon **** for half of Rcvs with same warrenty. The reason I'll be going that route.

Yeah but when you break it cost money on other stuff that gets broke with it !!! I'll be spending a lot of money it looks like on this build I don't ever want to even think about front end troubles again !!!!
that is very funny to me :rolf:
