Buggy build "Indecision"

Re: buggy build "indecision"

They are weld on. They've been on there for years. Who knows I may have been drunk when I did it. Lol. I was thinking about cutting them off and relocating them to help with clearance for my shocks so I can keep them as far outboard as possible.

I didn't even think about where the bottom of the coilover will be. Good time to change it if you want to.

Re: buggy build "indecision"

My thoughts exactly. I'll probably cut em off tomorrow when I get back from my other shop. I was pleased with how the truss came out though. Now I gotta do the front.

Re: buggy build "indecision"

Cool. I'm hoping to have mine done by fall crawl at Harlan. I think the biggest cost I have left is powder coat.

Lol. Ya it's custom alright. Lots of **** went pow when I did that.
Yeah that's the problem with Chevy power it breaks things, see if you would have used Dodge power it would have came already broken.

Re: buggy build "indecision"

Luckily the rain screwed me out of doing what I "needed" to do so I had no choice but to work in the garage on my buggy.

It kills me to not work in the garage on the obligatory spend time with the wife days. I'm dying to piss her off today so I can go to the garage, aka the dog house.
