Dont use the antirock there to soft, call S&N and get some good ones for it

yeah I wasn't nececeraly going to get antirocks just used that as an example
thanks for the tip I'm sitting about 200 yards from S-Ns shop right now

Nice Job!

You have no idea how glad I am to see you giving the attention that rig deserved. It had so many "little" quirks to work out to make it 100%. I also like the idea of changing and painting it to make it your own. I've owned other people rigs (such as that one) and the last thing you want to hear on the trail is "...is that so-and-so's rig?" I always said "no......it's MINE!"

Keep up the good work, and keep the pics coming of YOUR new ride.

I run an anti rock made by currie and it works perfect. If you ever get a chance to compare the two just check out the quality and then make your decision, also if you ask around there is alot of rock equipments that have broke:;

I've seen that ride in action a whole bunch and the things I would change are..... cromo axles, and either more triangulation on the front links or a track bar to make the front end more stable. Other than that it work frickin' great!

Hey Mark I'm sure you are going to be very anxious to see the way it turns out. The paint color's I picked are pretty bold. I'm hoping to have the paint done by the end of this weekend. If its not to much trouble? Could you PM me with any info you know about the axles I'm going to buy chromoly axles and any thing you could tell me will help

Your new rig looks pretty sweet hope to see it on the trail.

Yeah cromoly axles are in the very near future for this rig and a track bar. I was origanaly going to rework the front 4 link but for now I'm going to try a track bar first

OK on Saturday I needed to get the fab work done so I can get paint on this thing I cut the new triangle pieces for the tail lights and that was out of the way. I got a set of hood pins when I bought the rig they have a thick rubber washer that go's on top of the hood and a bumper that go's throw the hood there a lot nicer than the ones with just the washer screwed to the hood. The only problem was they where to short so I took a piece of hex bar and drilled and tapped it to fit the hood pin if I did the math right the bumper should hold the hood just off the tube I also needed to get a tail pipe on the exhaust because it shot right in your face if you where 2' behind the rig. The shop I'm working in had just the right piece of exhaust tube with a bend in it a quick cut on the band saw and I had the perfect exhaust tip.

You know what....fawk you for making that thing look so good. :flipoff:

All the shafts were stock except the one and only chromo.....the front driver inner axle. Nothing special to mention as far the axles are concerned though. Just like any axle, make sure the inners are the length they should be.....and I believe that's that.

Are you going to paint it :cheer: :rb: :cheer: ?

:haha: :haha: :haha:

On Sunday I showed up at the shop around 2:30 AM. and started preparing the hood for primer and got 2 good coats on it wasted a lot of time web wheeling and before I knew it it was around 7:00 AM. Wasted more time just staring at the rig before I know it it was 9:00 AM. Then before I know it it was 10:00AM went home and went to sleep. woke up around 3:00PM went back to the shop and sanded the hood with 600 grit sand paper. wasn't feeling to good went home and went to bed

Monday I didn't get to work on the rig at all because I was sick.

Tuesday I showed up at the shop to find Tim cut the new roof out. I tried to find a hole saw to cut the taillights out no luck. So I went to look for a piece of sheet metal I need. struck out with that to. gave up for the day

So that was you that stopped by today. Judging by the look's of the shop you are working in, you are in the same business park?

you are definitely improving that rig by a long shot. im not sure if you guys know the history of that rig, but im pretty sure a guy named keith (bns fabrication) in kirkland built it for his brother (sean). it should be 1 5/8" tube if that was him. it competed at goldendale 04 driven by sean and spotted by keith. if ya already knew that, oh well thought id share.

goldendale 04 was that the first year they started holding comp's there? If so I was there but don't remember this rig.
