So got an engine stand to mount the engine on to work on.

Question: What bolts do y'all use to mount the engine to the stand? Whatever is handy or....

Are the bolts that marry the bell housing to the block usually long enough to go through the mounts on the engine stand to the block?

So, went to Lowes, got a 4 bolt set up to attach said dead engine block to engine stand.

Now it's way easier to move around. Beats the heck out of two man lift.

Will be returning Eric's hoist by the weekend...

Finding it odd that the head is busted where the head gasket sits and covers. And the gasket is almost a shim; it's metal with a little gasket material there for torquing. Must have hit it just right to bust it that bad...

Oh well. New day. New project.
