You can twin stick that but it is one big SOB. It also has a shitty low range ratio. 1.96 to 1 vs the dana 300 at 2.62 to 1. Go 300 in your jeep.

If you find someone that doesnt know much you might score it for 100 bucks.... if its someone that knows what it is 250 +

Twin stick for the 300 is dirt cheap. I built my own but now that i did buying some for 100 bucks is worth the money.

Buy an adapter . Turbo 400 is a good tranny to use.

Buy an adapter @ advanced adapters.. Turbo 400 is a good tranny to use.

I got one of those adapters $100 not advanced, but OEM th400 to round 300 pattern

Im sure he will still need the spud shaft.It will need to be from a 32 spline output on the t400 to a 23 spline input on the d300.

A line lock will work also. Cutting brakes wont work if you have a welded diff in the rear. You will most likely need a selectabl locker in the rear to use cutting brakes.....I have heard that the detroit lock will also allow this but havent seen it first hand.

well im welded so it looks like line lock do I need discs I am going to use the d 118 till I have a 300 and the adapter
