I gotz family in that area... we could crash out and roll out.. There is actually a HUGE riding area near there called Chadwick I believe.. been over there but never rode there.

I got a camper that will sleep 6 comfortable and more if we cudle. We could take it if ya'll wanta split the gas.

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

I am planning to tent camp or split a cabin if the place we decide on has any. Weather should be real nice that time of year.

Im so easy, you tell me when and were and Im there. booyang
That's the problem so far. Nobody cares when or where. laughing1 Southern MO is interesting to me as I don't have interstate to get me there fast, so I am forced to take the real long way.

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

As long as there is plenty of choices to ride, not th esame trail everyday im in.

Southern MO sounds good to me. I will be towing mine ***** or not.

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

Aight, Southern MO it is. P you wanna check your family hook up? If not I am saying Greenville/Poplar Bluff area. I have heard good things on Potosi also.

I think I will be riding down and in motard trim by then and still ride the gravel/dirt with err one.

It will look like this, just need to source a front hub and have em relaced.

TKC 80's are SPENDY IMO for what you get.

Duros work plain and simple

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

yea, i totally agree... i just wish they made a larger rear Duro...
But overall they've been the best 50/50 tire ive found...

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

I've always wanted to try a set of Distanzias on a long road trip w/ a couple fs roads..
they just look like a knarly street bike tire.. looks like they would hook the twistys and do OK on the gravell..

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

Southern Mo is great with me... Like I said, I got a place or 3 to stay if we need to **** shower and shave... not only that but there are about 5 million twisty and gravel min maintenance roads in the area of Chadwick that you can get lost in. My grandparents arent far at all from there and they live in a VERY rural area. Ava Missouri is were I have family. There are a million places to ride around that area no joke.

Im undecided on what "trim" mine will be in. If we ride Chadwick I'll want knobs in a bad way because there are some good hills in that area and Im sure the trails will have some good climbs

Rode one decked out with zega cases crash bars and the like. Total pig in every way and felt uglier riding it than it looks from the side. :puke:

Ava is 450 miles each way for either group. I am game!

How many days of actual hang out, ride, drink, asshatery are we talking? 3 days of hugs n kisses and a day to get there and back? So a 5 day weekend?
