I have no idea. I started this to get peoples input on the two main things...when and where.

Where really depends on when. If we go in March it will be cool for camping in the mountains. I say mid April - ? :dunno:

I agree, and a little later in Spring - early summer works best for me as I might be gone on vacation in February

Re: Dual Sport Trip - Spring 2010

How about the 3rd weekend in April?

Dates would be 17th and 18th for Saturday and Sunday.

I will plan on that and start looking into meeting places for us all. Trying to hit half way between me and B-ham is all.

Jus lemme kno... :woot:

Im gonna try the tarp/hammock/sleepin bag trick I think... High rope for tarp, sides staked to ground. lower rope for hammock, sleepin bag on hammock... Personal collapsable tent... Voila :afro:

Or keep an eye out on ADV for one of these. I have considered it since I don't camp much and when I do it's by myself.

Yea, looks pretty cool... But I also have a mesh camo deer blind thing, that i can throw up as a screen instead of the tarp if the weathers nice... I'd rather :afro: rig something together...

I may be speeking for myself here, but it don't matter to me where we ride. I don't mind riding(meeting) halway either.

Just to trow it out there. Chase was talking of a place in north TN that his mom lives closs to. Not shure where its at or what its called Jrich can help here. Said there was alot of riding to be done there.

I would never own an Aprillia after asking a friend who works the service department at the local dealer. One came up local, near new, SM trim for $4900. I wanted it bad! V-twin torque in a motard...SIGN ME UP! he said they are horrible about honoring warranty work and the motors can't take much abuse. I found this odd since their road bikes seem to have a stellar following. I ended up with a 610 Husqvarna and thus far very happy.

I think this is the first logical post I've ever seen this guy make

Mason better show!

How about Greenville, MO? It's 415 miles from Dora and 400 from me. It's on the north side of part of Mark Twin National Forest. I'd have to get more detailed to find a campground, but that will not vary the distance by too much. It's rural as **** so there has to be riding galore and Poplar Bluff is south and I think a decent sized city with all we'd need.
