GAP - ECORS Race -Auburn, AL - May 19, 2012

I don,t know but its DAMN LIGHT,,,,I rode it around 3 times before the cage and spare tire got added to it and would just do a lot of SPINNIN molaugh

on its first "test run" in my back yard I thought the brand new clutch was SLIPPIN, or out of adjustment it was spinnin so bad molaugh

Addin the cage and stuff gave it some traction back though,, but it don,t land so well, I done jumped it high enough to knock the tranny outta gear upon landing one time,,,

,,,,,, landings are HARSH in it,,,,****in plastic chairs ::)

Only 2 vehicles to ever make Marc's Wall are Marc and Spencer in the ftoys:

Marc Zaboth Conquers Marc's Wall at the GAP

FToy crawls Marc's Wall

It has also been changed some since the ftoys conquered it, I don't think anyone has even come close since then or really even attempted it. Marc and Spencer have not been back yet to try it since the changes.

Spencer corrected me -he has done it once since Marcs Wall was changed-he is the only one to do it in it's current form.

We gone try and get there early Fri. mornin,,,,,,we know were theys a real SHADY spot to set up camp :dblthumb:

and then ........... :driving: :driving: :driving:

Are you going to camp in the regular camping area or the pits? There is very little or really almost no shade in the pit area.

There is however a new ditch trail that runs between the regular camping and the pit area!

Riding during the event will be available-the federal firebreak will be open all the way around the race circuit, the new riding area will be open (75 acres), The Hogwallow and the Dixie waterbowl will also be open. After the race is over, everything will be open. DO NOT cross the barricade tape and get onto the course during the race, you will risk serious injury and will also be escorted out of the park immediately. But, with the Federal Firebreak open you will be able to watch all sections of the race!

Camping is available for everyone Friday and Saturday nights. Entry for non-racers:
$20 for spectating/riding/camping for the weekend or
$12 for spectating and riding only for the weekend

is the course going to be about the same as last years? i thought for sure some of the new area would be incorperated in

I haven't seen the exact course yet, but I do know that Jon made some changes since last year. One change was to make the jump on the Scat Track more of a table top jump.

Jon has been working his butt off on the track! Fixing a lot of the mudholes, building up the track through the mudpits so that you're not in the mud, building banked turns and a bridge! You will go under one bridge and go over another bridge! There are several fast banked turns and when you go through the wide open mudpit areas there are 3 different paths so passing should be fun to watch. There are still a few potholes holding a little water, but nothing bad at all, just a little very shallow water b/c we've had some rain. There is more camping for racers in the pits than last year and the regular camping area is in immaculate shape b/c no riding has been allowed in there all year. He has also added some dirt to the tires that you drive over to make it smoother.

After tomorrow the weather looks good all week so it should be a great race!
