Sorry for that delayed response. I have been in Vegas at SEMA and have not been on the computer. I think what they are saying that they will be on site and if you get in on the 16th you can go ahead and get registered. I will be looking at that all closer. Most current updates will be on the Crawl 4 Christ site as we get closer bur discussions will also be contining all along on UCORA.

I was mostly talking about the dates it ends...

I think a friend and I are going to try to bring our rigs up from Auburn

What a great response to a wonderful post... My family will be there for sure..(and I will try to bring the rest of my fellow crawlers from Florida with me) It is a blessing to see how quickly God can bring everyone together into a ministry like this. Myself and my church family will be praying for this event!!

Thank YOu for the prayer and support. We will be looking forward to meeting you all face to face. Some of the folks that live closer will be going back out on the trails on Sunday after the devotional. Some of us that have farther to travel will be loading up and heading out right after the devotional. That is all up to you. The most activity usually is on Friday and Saturday. More information will continually be updated on Crawl4Christ.com as it gets closer.

I am a newbie to Hardline. I just stumbled across this thread while killin some time, and i have to admit, I'm Impressed. It is encouraging to me that a thread like this has been set up and ongoing.

I feel you HotRod, I know exactly how you feel. Its a struggle to balance all of life's daily issues as well as keepin a rig going. Especially when you have a family that wants your attention too. I battle selfishness along with many other things on a daily basis. But like you said we have to remember to humble ourselves daily, we are so blessed to have what we have, and to be able to do what we do.

....Thank You Lord....

Just throwing this out there, but if anyone is gonna have room for my taco and a friend and I, we can definitely help on gas

OK!!!!! Lets hear a report on the Choc- Santa Crawls in this tread. picked a little up from the event tread but had to sort through a bunch of the action talk. Not slammin that. We love the action, but lets hear more about how the attendance at the devotional and service went. THANKS

Sorry I didn't post. It went real good. I was very happy about the attendance, and really appreciate the ones who signed up to support. Some of the most popular people attended and it was appreciated. We had a short but good devotion on spreading the word of CHRIST. Prayed and we rode. We had a blast and I think people enjoyed it.

I agree, i thought it went well - hotrod and Labron delivered a good messaged that fit in well with the sport and time of year

This was the second toys for tots ride i have attended this year and both went great - a lot of toys were donated for a great cause - Props to Trey for putting up great food and fellowship

Rodney and Labron did a great job with the service. They had some very inspirational words and touched on how we do not have to be perfect to live for God. It was a very laid back setting and also very uplifting. It was great to fellowship in God without the church type setting. They lead us in a word of prayer before the ride. We raised lots of toys for the less fortunate kids this Christmas. It is so great to be able to help the community and to see so many others who want to help as well.

my 1st post in this thread.
I'm not a very religious kind of guy, and I dont blame god for any trouble I've ever had, but I have asked him to help get me out of trouble a time or two.

That all said: It doesnt matter if you make $40k, $400k, or $4m so many still spend over every month/year.
I had a friend who I know makes $300-350k a year ask to borrow money a couple months ago. I asked him how can he be in the hole? New cars, pretty new house, trips, dinners, golf??? He said he didnt know just wasnt making enough. I told him sorry, but I would help him liquidate some things and I'd call him out if I saw him blowing money.

**** aint easy, but you have to have restraint. You not only have to weigh your money and what it came be used for, but you have to weigh your time, and what it can be used for.
Doesnt matter if you have all the money in the world if you dont have time to balance your life it aint for the paper its printed on. I've blown months of my life in the shop building/prepping cars and missed many monumental events in the lives of my wife and son. Was any of it worth it? I dont know, but it doesnt feel like it once that time has passed.

I understand where your coming from. I can speak up and say that I am VERY selfish with my time. I have shunned lots of stuff to go wheelin. I am slowly learning my lesson. I am going to do my best to use some of my time to bring honor to the ONE who gives everything to me.

THIS IS A AWESOME POST AND A GREAT WAY TO SPREAD GODS WORD. THE PEOPLE IM AROUND DAILY AT WORK MAKE IT HARD FOR ME TO KEEP MY MIND ON LIVING MY LIFE ACCORDING TO GODS PLAN. IM ALWAYS LOOKING AROUND ON HARDLINE SO THIS WILL HELP KEEP ME FOCUSED ON WHATS RIGHT!! THANKS

Well put Wyat, I am thankful my wife helps me keep that balance (without being a nag or a total @#*!#@# about it) especially with my kids as they are at the age they are very active. It does kinda stink 'cause I get nothing done on my rig (ask Kelly or Travis) but if I loose one of them tomorrow I know I did what I could with them. We also need to remember as you said, its not our time or money to begin with.

I don't have any smart or eye opening quotes, I do love the Lord and thank him everyday for my family and friends. I lose sight of the real goal everyday but try to look for things to lead me back to Him. This is a GREAT thread. good to know that there are Christians out there. We are not alone.
