Re: Lay's Solid MFG Chassis Build

most likely 5.13 unless he got teh super hard to get 5.38's that were nothing but trouble for the 14.
WOW. at 5.13 you are only 25:1 in low with a 205. With my 40's I could spin the **** out of them with that strong ass vortec. in the rocks it was ****ing worthless. bad. I hated it. mind you I was 22:1. with mine being 30:1 now, I love the **** out of it, could use a little more. I thinnk with him being 25:1 he'll want more if you guys get in any rock. disney hates that high of gear. you guys don't have dry granite so it might work. a 3:1 lomax is under a grand shipped right now :o :o and would put him at 38:1. PERFECT :woody:

Re: Lay's Solid MFG Chassis Build

Re: Lay's Solid MFG Chassis Build

Re: Lay's Solid MFG Chassis Build

fawkin sucks dont it

guess ill have time to get the rest the way i want it

Re: Lay's Solid MFG Chassis Build

I run 5.38s with a stock 205, 42's 6.0L and its not the worst in low but could use a little more. The Motor seems to get it but takes too long to get there. I am planning on a Lomax if I do a buggy. They are strong and dont way anymore than a stak and less monies too.

Looks like the steering wheel could have better placement. Looks too close to the dash.

Yep , I already mentioned cutting the dash bar out completely and starting over up there.... it needs it badly, he's so piled in the thing its beyond silly. It needs several more inches of height at the dash for the sake of ergonomic's ....

It needs to be like this rig... drool
