I'm no fabricator but I would(did) skin the underside of the ram protector in .375 Alum.

Weld tabs to the inside of the hoops and drill corresponding holes in yer plate,countersink the bolt heads and voila!! Light,burl easily removable protection.

I skinned the underside of the axle to the closest hoop with 1/4"x6" and teh first to second hoop with 3/16". I also added a mounting point for hooking up to my winch.

skid plate, runs from th rear of the tranny to the front of the oil pan, I still have to add the front brace coming down fom the motor mounts. I will also have a poly mount to absorb some of the shock from landing on rocks

Right on stan. Its coming together .....looking good. Still dont know about the front but after the paint is on it might start to grow on me. I guess its just a different era . Young vs old!!!!!:haha: Anyway its looking good.:awesomework:

hope that thang can turn tighter then your last toy. Is it going to be running any comps this year??? O this is your spotter from yakima, never did hear how we did, it most of been bad!!! Hey thanks for all the help, to bad we could never get it on its side :redneck: , we actually took second, a long ways behind Ted but it was still a blast. Yeh that daamm toota could not turn for shiat:rb:, thats a toyota thing that I dont understand :haha:. I will be hitting as many local comps as I can get to.
