My 321 Build

I got ya... Will the power steering brackets and pump you used on your engine fit on my LS2. It is out of a truck if that helps. I will need a good pump so I can control both front and rear. Seems like you found one that would be good for my application. If it will work you got a part #?

It should. But there's more to it than just mounting the pump. You have to somehow adapt a pulley to the pump. There is no part number for the pump I got that will tell you what to get. It's just a standard .97CID gear pump available at any hydro discount place. This is the same thing I got only mine is made by a different company: https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2009072515503249&item=9-7152-D&catname=hydraulic

I can't rememebr if mine was CW or CCW but its whatever direction the rest of the accessories spin.

Damn Josh that chassis is sweet...cant wait to see you :driving: it late in the day after some :drinkers:

Well maybe it will be sooner than later. Wife is buying me the Longfield CV's for the rear. That alone was going to be a couple months away. So by doing this we should have moved the completion date a little closer. I am thinking New Years will not be an issue if things can keep moving alone like it is. Now the next big ticket item is the steering.......

Looks real good Josh. I can't wait to see it done. We'll def. have to go riden together. Call me if you want us to do the hydro stuff.

We will for sure... Check on me some radiator hose if you don't mind, need a price by the foot if you can do it that way. And I will probably get the hyd. hose from you as well if my local guy can't get it to me on the cheap.

ok, just tell me what size hoses you'll be running. I'll get you a price. May trade out on some stuff I need for mine?

I am sure Jimmy has used this type of radiator before, he already had it for the buggy and this isn't the first one he has built. But I would like to knoiw as well, good question. That is one thing I don't need to worry about is over heating.

I used the same radiator on the low low and my old buggy with the 8100 Big block.
I now use larger units, but niether of those vehicles had issues the low low was rear mount and 8100 was a front mount.

I have found that the venting the steam ports, a water restrictor, good shroud, and a vac fill on the system eliminate almost everyones cooling problems. Especially in a rear mount senario.

What do you mean by venting the steam ports? I mean, I know what the steam ports are but what are you calling venting them? Also what is a water restrictor? Finally, I'd appreciate exact specs/part numbers of the bigger rad you use now as well as the one in that buggy ...

Ordered the Longfield RCV Rear Axles this morning. Also sent a message to get my Art Carr Shifter on the way. I was hoping to make it up there today but it will have to be tomorrow or Friday. It has been super easy dealing with Jimmy and the other guys at EOR.

That is thing I love about EOR, easy to deal with. I can literally text Jimmy that I need something and he will send it.

I dropped my tires off there today... Boy was they on me about the blinging aluminum rims... My Art Carr shifter was in already. My Atlas should be there this week and by the end of next week my rear cv axles should be there. I also purchased my rear brake parts. They are pretty sick as well. I didn't get any pictures cause it looks the same as the picture before. Jimmy will get some updated pictures with the tires on it.

You are going to have a blinging ass rig man, I am stoked for you!

Thanks man, it means a lot. I have worked hard to get where I am at and maybe this dream will come true shortly. I am trying not to cheap out on things and do it right the first time. I have always traded up and I see no reason to throw **** at a 321 Chassis . It deserves the best. Once I get it completed I will have to get Ricky B. to hook me up with some photos. I haven't said it out loud but the last things to do to this buggy is put a 08-10 Tundra front clip on it. Just for looks of course.......

Just got a pm. The Atlas II is in. I am sure we are still waiting on the rear axles to arrive and then finish up on the interior....

Damn - wish I had the funds right now for a new ride :****:

This thing is gonna be killer - can't waite to see it.

Hell yeah man... Looking good. When do you think the rear axles will be in and the interior done? That chassis sits low....
