I know it would be Majestic.
I think the explosion would be so majestic that it would send shrapnel and debris for a 100yd radius. Several people would be injured in the process. Grog, Cole is about to test out that Spider rear for you. We will know soon if they are made to last in the South

I will say it again for those of you that have thick rockwell grease encrusted brains.
Cole's last rig was a piece of crap that would not go forward and up at the same time. Mainly this was due to gravity, the other reasons were poor suspension geometry and non-working 47" mud slingers. As far as non-driving, I don't know. I can gather the first 3 reasons from videos, that reason I cannot make a call on since all of his videos of past end up with him rolling down a hill.
The rig worked fantastic going forward and sideways downhill, by the way, so I am not totally dogging it.
Cole's new rig will be light, powerful and shod with sticky tires. That takes care of 2 of his past problems.
I trust by now that Jim has the suspension geometry thing licked. I cannot tell that for sure as every video of every rig he has ever built is on some insanely muddy rockpile that tends to involve way more throttle than finesse, so until I get to witness this first hand, I am not sure. My gut says the boy has his **** squared away in this department.
So, it comes down to this. Will Cole enjoy his buggy, school lots of dip-**** Alabama boy ass with it and be happy or will he constantly go for "the show" on every climb and never let the buggy work?

Thought we were talking about unit bearings? Cole is running semi float. Which I think will have bent flanges after the first couple full on runs.
I dont really care for unit bearings myself but the alternatives are $$$ for a spider rear.
As for the boxes on the portals, I broke on of the stock Volvo birfields on flat ground with the wheels strait???

Cole has a spider 9 rear but it is semi-float with a LP center section. If he breaks it a 14b will take it's place. I think he is trying it to prove a point more than anything else.
