The engine is only sitting in there for now, till i get the tranny and t-case, then i'll actually mount it. But holy hell it sits low with weight in the front

For quick reference while C6 shopping..

351M/400 - 429/460 = one bell pattern.
332,352,360,390,406,410,427,428 - Ford "FE" = another bell pattern.
240/300 I6, 250 car I6, 302, 351 Windsor = Small block bell. - That's what you need.

Happy shopping.

Oh dear lord its been too long.

I drained the oil and flush it out, gonna have to pull the pan tomorrow and give it a good cleaning. I pulled all the worthless Ac **** off the engine, and cleaned up some of the wiring harness.

The rear is sitting on its own weight. I'm running the stock coil springs out of my old 96 4skinner. Tonight i'm gonna research like a mofo on how i wanna set up the 4link. thursday i'll get started on the mounts and linky's. I decided on a 104.5" wheelbase.

I'll be running a willwood MC for the brakes, getting if for free from the race car, since we are upgrading this winter.

Friday im mounting up a free set of 35 MTR's from a buddy of mine. I'll rock them for now till i get more money, since i'm in the process of looking for a shop. :awesomework:

Progress will be happening quite rapdidly now. :awesomework: I'll post pictures tomorrow when i'm not tuned the **** up :cheer:

Well if you would hurry up and get a shop in smokey point I would be glad to share some lack of knowledge and a helping hand with your suspension and whatnot.

It will happen soon enough. A little help would be awesome! I'd love to learn as much as i can, and think with a little more reading i'll have a good idea. But still wouldnt mind someone who does it everyday sharing a little knowledge :awesomework: I'll let you know when we get the shop up north. It will be right by that huge new shell station across the train tracks.

Jesus christ I'm pathetic. Well i tore a legemant (sp?) in my knee, there for i have a little time to play in the garage. :redneck: progress will be slow since i'm hobbling around with a soft cast on.

Got the tube work done on the passenger side, and skinned.

Had a spare sheet of aluminum laying around, so i decided to use it instead of make tabs for my seats. Since they are plastic, i want the go overkill on the mounts.

started on the front winch mount as well, and also figured out how i'm gonna do the rear floor, and where to mount the gas tank. That will be my mission tomorrow is to finish that stuff. My knee hurts so i'm done for the day.

Floor pan frame is in, tunnel is built, beer was drank. I decided to change the lower door bar, i couldnt come up with a good way to make the floor work, and not be awkward.

Heres what i came up with. I kind of went with the lines of a Poison spider Bruiser chassis like i originally wanted to. Found two pieces of already bent tube that worked perfect, so i sleeved them and made it work.

And here is the floor, and tunnel design i went with. I wanted the tunnel nice and High cuz i have some other plans in mind later down the road.
