Pics of your shops/garages/specs

Would you rather have 2 doors or one big door? Im doing a 30x50 and the 30' is the front. I shouldnt have a problem fitting 2 11' wide doors or maybe alittle wider. I have 14ft wall height so i would either do 11x11 or one big door 12ft or so talll.

Thoughts.. opinions ?

Two doors and one on the other end. Our shop has one door on the front and two on the back. I've worked in a buddy's shop that just had doors on the front and the air flow is non existent even with fans on. Plus during the winter a big door will let more air out than a smaller one when you're moving stuff in/out. Once you get warmed up dont want lose all that heat.

My shop is exactly these dims. I have 2 12ft tall doors on the 30' side, really wish I had one on the back for drive through on at least 1 side would kick-ass.

How wide are the 12ft doors on the 30ft side?

The way mine is laid out i cant do a door on the opposite side. Its right at the back of my property and i wouldnt be able to use it. But i may add in a roll up window or something for airflow.

Started making room for my build. Really didn't anticipate having to get rid of this tree, but knew it would be a problem later on if I didn't do it now. Should make for a good long beer drinking fire.

Will be a long process. My builder is 2-3 months out on current work. Which is ok with me, as I am in my final semester at school and life overall has been hectic as ****. Builder will be doing everything turn key except for dirt work, so I gotta find time to burn/babysit this mound of limbs, hire someone to do the dirt work, and wait on the builder to get started.

Shop specs as of now: 40' wide x 36' deep x 10' side walls. 3 garage doors on front gable end (10x10 in the middle with 10x8's on each side). Steel building (beams & purlins), vinyl backed fiberglass insulation, 2 heavy duty entry doors. There will be a divider wall built from metal liner paneling, between the far left door and middle door, which will divide wife's storage room from my shop. Hers will be roughly 12x36, mine will be roughly 28x36. I'd like to put a lean-to on it too, but we are pushed for room. Between other trees and landlines. Wish our whole house and driveway was scooted over to the right on our property about 25'. But its not, so we make do. This should give me plenty room for what I need it for. Can't wait til its done so we can make some room in our garage. Tired of the clutter. Hoping total price stays at or under $25-26k.

Took down the metal hallide lights and put up led ufo light today, unbelievable difference, no warm up time either. Well worth the $136 per light.

That's a good comparison there. Be interesting to see if you notice a difference in the power bill swapping to the leds. Just noticed your ceiling fan, that is something I'd like to do in mine. What's the specs/details on it? How well does it work?

You use the exact same item number light as Jduck?

Used these.

No warm up time either, on at the flip of a switch, old lights took 10 minutes to warm up and work.

I hope it saves a bunch on power, we'll see. We put the fan up yesterday as well, it is a 96" unit made by Big Air ICF96. So far it's ok, has a remote to turn off and on, 5 speeds but it may be a little small for the size of the shop.
