• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Project "Secret Squirrel"

Well I have been poking at this here and there between other rigs. I finally figured out where to mount the line locks. Since I am pretty sure most of the fender well will be going away I couldn't mount anything to it so it was tricky to figure out where to mount them. But I finally did.

I even got the residual/perportioning valves mounted

So all thats left for the brakes is the hardlines to the rubber lines...

So since the time is getting closer to cut the rig in half and start throwing tube--it was time to get the rear diff ready

But after cutting all the bracketry off I found a hairline fracture in the diff at one of the spring perch's--and those who have dealt with this on a toy housing--instant death.... Jack is supposed to get another housing for me tommorow so I can get another one setup.

So in the mean time I went and got the arb/spool'd diffs all ready to drop in..

The rear calipers are the smaller version of the dana 44---off a monte carlo. Jack also got the weld on caliper brackets but due to the hat depth on the rotor I had to modify the brackets to work---but they truned out perrrrfect :;

So just gotta build the truss and then the rear is ready....
