NIce lookin REAR!

Did you just cut those brackets and reweld them or did you add some to the mix?

had to both cut the bracket and then make the small flange that bolts to the housing...

YOU are the man, I think I was confused cause I swear I got all the correct parts to do a weld on type.....*smacks self in head*:D

No you did right jack--the distance from the flange to mounting surface on the toys is pretty far and I have had to do this a # of times---it just got lost in my head when you ordered the parts...:; But I am also going to run a couple small beads on the brackets once the truss is done since there will be no need to evere remove them....

Whats with all the spot welds holding the caliper brackets? I don't remember seeing the tack...tack...tack...method of GMAW in any American Welding Society literature :eeek:

Is that something new that just came out?

p.s. GET TO WORK!

I did a rough cut on the frame to get that hunk of crap outa my way :redneck:

Here the rear axle sits roughly where it should. I am shooting for around 105" on the wheelbase..

I did a final cut on the frame about 3/4" in front of the platform that comes off the frame for the rear spring perch

And here the frame rails are capped and ready
