Project "Secret Squirrel"

Yes--looks like we will have more room than I origionally thought behind the tank for recovery gear--and depending on how I place the rad you should also have room behind the seats for goodies :D

Gotta love the goodie room!

Speaking of goodies, I have some you may be interested in......turning is so key!

That didn't work out so well the last time :redneck:

Come to find out it was due to the second battery--had I 2 good batteries It would have been a much better out come--but I had no problem playing tow truck either :redneck:

Or those old FJ's had alot of nickle in there castings and thats why..

So after I figured out exatcly where I wanted the fuel cell--it was time to figure out how I wanted to mount/secure the fuel cell..

So the next I wanted to get the last big item mounted--the radiator. I origionally had an idea of where it was going to go but that was when I was going to mount the batteries in a different spot--so scatch those plans. After setting the rad in about 20 different positions I finally dfigured it out and here is how it turned out.

Wow Mike, it looks like you figured out how to TIG weld aluminum on that fuel cell :awesomework:

:fawkdancesmiley: :haha: JK

Ok I fianlly got the upper coilover mounts made and tacked into place. I am still unsure on the coilover upper mounts. As it sits they are canted inward about 8 degrees more than I have done before. So I am going to sit on those for a while and see if I want to change them. I also got jacks new optima's today ;) and I also had to throw the tires on just to see how it looked

hey crash, what do you use for brake line from the rear disk brake to the regular hardline??? I've got my D44 calipers on the rear of my 14FF and am still trying to bridge that gap... (really haven't spent much time on it though:redneck: ) i see you use some sort of rubber line it looks like... do you have them custom made or is there a place that carries something like that?
