• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Reiter Pass's a SEPA (that means it's opening)

Is the "main" parking lot to be off the DNR mainline rd.? Doesn't look like any better a chance to get from one end of the system to the other (ie connector trail/road for ORV's) :corn:

I can argue semantics.......where would you like to start?:hi:

I just want written letter from DNR stating that Reiter will reopen. Which we dont have. This article is great and good step forward but never says Reiter will reopen. :awesomework:

ORV's, not Road Legal.

4x4 will be limited to the 4x4 area.

Bikes will be limited to the bike/quad area.

We will all use a common entrance and parking area......atlaest that's what the DNR wants.

There is talk of using an existing hard ground "road" to join the two 4x4 areas. This road, unfortunately, touches into the Aquifer. TBD.....

Ideally (and realistically) there will be no opportunities for non-street legal ORV to drive illegally on a road; that would require you to be so.

We'll all be contained.......Past, are the days of these issues at Reiter.

:rolleyes::haha:Anyone else find this comical?

You have just proven you can not and will be be satisfied.

So keep posting and I'll keep responding......but everyone reading these posts knows where xjoffroad stands.:;

I'm gonna call you the new 1%:flipoff:

I understand the next steps and will volunteer to help in getting this done. So we don't have hard evidence that Reiter will reopen? DNR has not published a letter or something for the public that states Reiter will reopen?
Have the faith

It's hard to tell on that crayon like map, but it looks like there is an air gap between the two systems, if you want to call them that.

I gort to answer this one
Concept one was to build a jump ramp to get between the two areas:stirpot:

He does not.....that where he stands.

It's ok guys.......I really don't care about a Mr Poopy Pants. :fawkdancesmiley: We have the support of the folks do see the light.:awesomework:

Ya but OMG how much more do you need
An DNR approved SEPA says to me that they are going to do it:cheer:

Sorry but with my secular job dealing with city and state officials and all the crap they do to get their way I have no trust or faith in DNR. This article is a step forward but still no hard evidence that it will be reopened. DNR can say whatever they want in a letter and probably have many times. We still have many, many months of waiting and work to be done to see if the DNR really will hold up their end of the bargain.

I do hope it reopens!

OK.....don't fade away into lurker mode though. If you have some info you'd like to share with us.......DO IT!:awesomework:

You seem to be "in the know" yet you really haven't helped us understand your points.:eeek:Let's hear it......what do you know, that will help us?

Can you imagine the cluster fawk opening day is going to be?? That place is going to be packed :haha::haha: I'll give it a few weeks or run it during the week.

You say that like it's be a bad thing.:eeek: Besides......you ain't coming.:fawkdancesmiley:

And there is a possibility Reiter may have "open hours".......meaning, for example: Open - Sat & Sun, 8am - dusk.

Like many other topics.......TBD

Happy b-day Crash...

Hopefully, with a lot of upcoming hard work, you'll be wheeling Reiter on your next b-day...

So far, the dnr has been very open and truthful down here... I have no reason to not believe what they tell us... I've never dealt with them up north though...

But, either way, the work needs to be done...

I'm not coming on opening day thats for sure. Now that I work down south it wouldn't be so bad for me to tow my rig to work then head up there for the weekend.
