Every SINGLE part is being inspected. Its crazy because you could look at the bearings and all the other parts and tell the motor didn't have very many miles, and it looked like it was running great, not to lean, not to rich.
My buddy with the 4 seater powerstroke buggy is the one doing the work for me. He owns a shop about 2 miles from my house. He is the one who rebuilt my other motor.
Should be around $1,500 to have it ready to beat on again.

I appreciate all you guys looking out for me, because alot of this is still new to me.

We just wanna watch you thrash that biotch some more !! laughing

Glad your getting it worked out man, cant wait to see it out gettin it again !! thumb.gif

damn....just saw this. I was wondering what you ended up finding out. its hard to believe that was in there!
glad it didnt do too much damage. lookin forward to seeing you beat on it again.

kinda off topic, but dads buddy bought a 67 chevelle from a fella in St. Loius with a very healthy big block. drove it about 300 miles and it started losing oil pressure. pulled the motor and disassembled it and found a large beach towel folded perfectly under the intake where the guy swapped intakes and used it to catch pieces on the way down. i askd him if he called the guy he bought it from and all he had was" i dont think it will do any good" and i said that i would still have to call him one dunm sumbitch over the phone

Cole rolls deep son, he's gonna stroke that bitch, add nitrous and a super charger before he is done. He has a money stalk in additin to the tree!

Glad to see its about to be ready. Dunno if Daniel told you, but I got mine running. Jim told me to buy a $30 throttle posision sensor, and it fired right up, sounds like its running good too.
