alright alright you can take credit for the rear disc setup:looser: yeesh!:redneck:
no but seriously he did most of the work, i was his point man:awesomework:
Got details on the 14b disk setup? I'd rather swap a 14bolt with disks into my 71 Chevy than try to find parts for the drums on the Eaton that's in there.
ya i acn pm you or something some of the details (not real hard, and there's something i would have done differently had i known:booo: )
You might rethink that tranny mount. I could be wrong but solid mounting the tranny side might play hell on that adapter under torque. How do you have that engine sitting on its mounts?
I like the look though.:awesomework:
Don't you hate tha....ooh! Shiny! :redneck:I have at least 5 unfinished "projects" i have to do and keep cycling through them because of the A.D.D.:haha:
are those stock chevy width perches up front?
it that a fullsize frame with luv body or luv frame?
i wanna do all my **** and have a datsun body/frame and dont know wheather to do a shitload of work to the datsun frame (boxed) and set it up for solid axle or just swap cabs
Well, i got some 2x6" tube and decide to hack out the rockers. I only got one done, but i figure you can get the idea from just one side anyways, i'm having a bit of trouble though as to how i'm going to support the rocker from underneath it i have just two spreaders on it now and plan on 4 more across the bottom, but it seems to be quite a steep angle (not very strong IMO) to attach it to the lower part of the frame to the bottom/middle of the rocker. but anyways, that'll be for another day now.
sizing it up.
welded on w/ two stringers.
just for reference the stringers are at 5 degrees. travelling up from the frame to the rocker.
spot for the front A-pillar toob thing to start and fender toob thingy to connect into...
