Super Secret coming out of the closet

Nice work sir, I had not realized you posted your project up. At the very least your project is nearly as ugly as mine, so I guess I feel hopeful.

:D

been a while since i posted anything....

gathering up some parts for assault round #3.2583...

-flaming river steering joints.
-custom steering wheel w/ quick release hub.
-RJS five point harnesses.
-12" electric fans.
-PRP premier high backs to be ordered soon...
-Radiator mounting ideas along with fuel delivery and brakes
-tubing ideas for rear half and cage/exo/protector/saver/thingy

again the list that seems to be never empty is full again, but with fun new shiny parts:cheer: :awesomework:

pics will be soon...

Steering started/finished

Well, I got my parts for the steering in on monday and got motivated tonight to at least get the steering all tacked into place. So i invited Penetrode Offroad to help get this partay started. BTW this took all night, mainly because 75% of the time was consumed by trying stoppy's on the new mountain bike over oil cans and frisbee:haha: So, anyways, here's what i have so far...

Here it is just hanging out...

Seat Tracks...

Well, I sort of got the seat tracks made. I still have to adjust the height of them a little, but they're getting closer... I have yet to weld anything down because i'm still pondering how i'm actually going to mount the seat to the tube:haha: any suggestions???:eeek:

Here are the two of them just sitting in there.

t-case clearance (actually even closer now, due to relative seat height:mad: )

Weld on some tabs? :corn:

I was thinking of that:fawkdancesmiley: but i was just wondering as far as first hand worst case scenario rollover how tabs really hold up. if I should gusset the tabs or jsut those alone would work (and yes i know welding plays a part too:fawkdancesmiley: )

It's been too long.... and now there is a clear path to the vehicle.... i'm going for it!!!!

KAWABUNGA!!!!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

stay tuned for more info....

ya, i was thinking of selling it due to lack of time on hand to do it, and room. but now i have both again and some extra help too...:cheer: so hopefully it will be mobile sooner than i expect...

You said that you'd have it driving at the end of last summer. :looser: But I know how that goes so... :awesomework: to you for keeping it!

Ok, the garage is cleaned and prepped, ready for the final push to get it running....:haha: i crack myself up:haha: :haha: :haha:
