:eeek:Wheelers don't do acceptance. You know this.
We are the entitlement recreation segment generation.:cheer:
What feeling of entitlement could possibly be greater than to criminalize the very presence of other individuals in the woods purely so you can have ALL the woods all to yourself? Go look at the type of camping facilities DNR builds with our tax money so people can ride a horse around, or hike. How many acres of land do hiker and hunters have over us, yet we are entitled?
I see a recurring tone and theme to your posts on here, yotadude97. We all have them. But when I take all your posts from Reiter to seasonal closures into context, I see a dude whom when The Sisters corner you in Shawshank Prison you're the guy who immediately bends over, drops your undies and spreads your cheeks. "Well guys, if its what you say I have to do."
What is being done to good honest motorized recreationists is no different than what was being done to Jews in Germany during the late 30s. You are right. We will not accept the "necessary changes" because to most of us a getto until the gas chamber is unacceptable. We feel "entitled" to not going out that way.
I am a wheeler. I have found what I love to do. I will continue to do what I love even once your dreams come true and it is no longer legal to wheel in the US. I do not want to take anything from anyone else. I only want to be left alone to do what I want to do. I don't need your help or tax dollars, your "engineered million dollar ORV trails" or your horse and hiking areas. Like all the wheelers I know I want nothing I cannot provide for myself. This makes us the least entitled group in the country.
Entitled are the people who reach outside of their space and tell others what they can and cannot do. No man is more entitled than he who would make it his business to restrict or regulate the liberties of others. There is no higher definition of entitlement than to want an entire Wilderness area all to yourself. A Wilderness area I pay taxes on too.
