Yea, I know TC is good at what they do but you pay for it. I have my list all done for the new single seater and man oh man. Felicia wanted a new house but I need to whipped it Shannon before he goes COOR racing

I have a hard time believing yours will be either! :flipoff1:

Man, the TC guys hate it when I say this, but for straight up rockcrawling, I will be taking a step back with my new rig from my Bash Buggy.

I have never seen a single steer rig that could do what that buggy could do in the big rocks.

My point about Carls is that he is going from a 48" wide 2 seater to a 48" wide 2 seater. Mine is apples and oranges....2500# 2 seater with a 4 banger to 3300# 4 seater with a V8 :)

I thought the desert guys were running their trucks, seems like most are borrowing rock rigs. I think Pistol Pete should run the **** out of that Trophy Truck just cause it would be cool!

I am not looking for big changes. We are going to take this base chassis and lean in one side, kinda like the moon buggies do but not that much. I'll go from a 48 inch chassis to a 42 inch chassis the top is what is going to be small, still going to be a front engine set up, Randy and I both hate the rear engine set up on a rock racer. Stroked LS2,Th350,Stak, HP 60's and a few other things.

Yeah, i was very disappointed when I heard they were running borrowed rigs. Just doesn't seem right!

I dont care what those guys think, a Trophy Truck will not go on the rocks these guys are going to have to drive on.

The straight desert guys are going to get their asses handed to them IMO.

I tend to agree cause they wont have the finesse and will prolly blow some parts to **** and back... just my opinion.. I cant wait to see regardless, its an interesting mix of drivers thumb.gif

Damn, enough with the JR interviews and pictures.....2 pics on the entire ****ing site and they are both of JR ::)

Enough of the desert race gays, I am tired of hearing how great they are, now I sound like Nolan. The rock crawling guys are going to win this race. And enough about JR, now I hope he gets beat, that is all for now :spin:

I have to say the desert guys will be a threat. A racer is a racer, they adapt to what they drive and they type of race it is. Do not count those guys out, not saying to look for them winning but I think they will not do miserable either.

The JR hype has made me not want him to win. I just think it is damn hard to beat Shannon in anything. His downside is that he does not know the trails and has no spotter. Are any of the superstar crawlers teaming up with a local spotter that knows the trails? That would be the best bet to victory. I think Tom has been flying under the radar and I know he knows that area every bit as well as JR does. I think he has a solid chance. JT, Tracey and the Lovell's are also hard to beat.

Not to bash on them but if the Lovells don't win they will CRY about it, maybe I have raced with them toooo much  Let the fur fly now thumb.gif JT ran last year but broke a tranny shifter. Anyone that has race with Shannon or seen him drive know that man can flat get it.

JR knows the TRAILS, but he does not have a good sence of direction according to Randy and Tom. Tom has prerun every inch of that desert WITH his spotter and knows the fast sections. He is running Creepies with steel beadlocks and (secret here now that race has started) Stauns inside them for runflats.

Randy has a mean MOFO and if those POS portals survive, he will be hard to beat.

JR has a super cool rig, no doubt. Rear steer will be a huge advantage getting around stuck vehicles. To that I give the nod to Jordan.

I just cant wait to see it come down tomorrow.

JR is overexposed, everybody has been talking about him nonstop. He seems like a nice enough guy though so I can't root against him.

I'm totally jealous of the desert racer guys. They say things like, "Umm, I heard it has 40" tires and a lot of levers." What? You're so unworthy. I don't care if you won the baja 1000, give me the rig. At least I know when to use the levers. It feels to me like they are clowning around. I hope everybody that shows up with a silly rig or a silly attitude gets a mild injury. :flipoff1:

I'm rooting for Rusty Bray. He seems like a nice guy and he sold me my tires. ;D

a trophy truk has absolutely NO place in this race...they would not make ONE single [rock] obstacle....they are toooo toooo wide and are at a definite disadvantage with their independant suspensions....

oh, and ftr........................................................................................

go JR!!!!! :flipoff1:

gunmetalcruz for teh 2nd place would be cool....
