XRRA Prep thread

Figured Id start getting prepared for this. Getting the buggy done is half the battle. I need to be prepared for rules and registered as well as have a spotter dedicated and travel / time off for events scheduled. I dont want a last minute " I cant take off work" scenario or anything else that could be prevented holding this up.


I also need someone to commit to being a spotter. I figured Id list what " I FEEL" I need in a spotter.

RELIABILITY : This is probably the top of my list. I want someone that WANTS to be there, wants to be ready to do work, and wants to
do it in a profesional manner.

DESIRE TO PERFORM : No whining , no excuse's I will personally be doing this for two reasons.

1. To be as competitive as myself , my rig, and my " team " can possibly be.

2. To put on a good showing be it for the fans , XRRA or my daughter sitting off track watching. I will put my best foot forward. I expect my spotter to do the same.


And lastly I feel I need someone that is there to work with me not against me. Enough said laughing

As of right now, I really only have one person in mind, that I think could work out for me for this job.

We need lots of safety gear and make sure you have 3" of clearance with your helment on when you are sitting in that buggy!

You are gonna be team photographer son!! The 3 of us cruising to all the events in the Manvan is gonna be a trip. Oh yeah we got a team name, Hardline Motorsports. Now we just need people to give us money and or parts!

Have you priced these Series memberships?
XRRA is $500 for the season then $200 per event. Or if you just plan on running one event $50 Event Memebership, then $250 entry fee.

WeRock $400 for the Season, then $375 per event. Or if you just plan on one event $475

I'm seriously considering doing WERock for one event in Katemcy even though I'm not a driver at all. (That way I can get some freaking tire hookups) But DAMN $475!!!!!!!!!???????



And who was telling me about the new 39" Reds for $1300? I know I can score them for $1400, but shiat I'm down for saving another $100. At that price I am willing to shred sidewalls vs. the much higher cost of running the Maxxis 40" Creepies. I can get 5 Reds for the price of 4 Creepies and still have enough money for ALOT of beer. Fugggitttttt!

if I were closer dude, I would be there....pit crew, spotter, beer drinker, etc......whatever is needed. maybe in a few years, hell I may be running by then!

im a mechanical ninja. ill throw in a cpl bucks and a stack of envelopes.... i'd throw more but thats all i got. and ill do all your motor and tranny work. and gears and such.... it'll only cost you beer

What about someone to film the event. That way you could watch yourself learn from your mistakes. Wish I was able to get off work so that I could help out.
