You suck! And you'll have to wait to see on the lockrigns. I'ma goin' ta RickyB ya.

Matt thanks for that tip. I will do it up. I dont want to be burping air.

While we are on the subject of tips and stuff.. I need to figure out whats my best ( economical but quality ) steering pump and resy option. Ive been lookin at the PSC P pump and resy kit.

that buggy fo sale thread you posted today said PCI pump ( never heard of that and would be interested in pricing it as well )

Howe cost to much , already looked there and asked for info they didnt give me in the "blanket" email response ( I hate that...)

Anyway, thinking out loud lookin for opinions...

Steering is the key component on these XRRA rigs. Randy and Cotton told me that steering pumps and rams are their biggest problems. PSC has a new comp setup out that has a super high-flow pump, resevoir and long travel ram. I know they are good about helping out competitors also. I would contact them and see if they could cut you any sort of price break on their setup

Suggestion. Get a ram longer than needed, and add stops to it like I did on the front end on the PurpleJeep. That way, if you ever decided to spend the extra money on the crazy turning radius axels, the steering would already be set up for it.

the affordable pumps from psc have similar specs as a good gm pump, more flow than that gets expensive fast.

I got a pump from autozone for ~$40 that specs out the same as psc's pump - they'll tell you otherwise but remember they're tryin to sell you somethin

bought psc's pump can for remote res for ~30

making my on res versus 130 at psc

I think it will work but we'll see
BTW I got better prices thru polyperformances on the psc stuff than I did direct from psc

Yea the pump can with the AN fitting already on it is REALLY what Im wanting. I need to just order that and a resy and run my pump with one more small mod and call it PSC for half the money laughing

Would this pump help? I would make you a sweet deal on it.

Nah, thats a TC pumpI believe, and I need a Saginaw P pump

I understand. It was my spare from the Bash Buggy and I was going to use it again, but I ended up getting a PSC Saginaw pump.

I have the hookup at PSC if you want to go that route. Call Lance and tell him I sent you.

I had a POS pump on there before, but I killed it somehow, so I bought a PSC pump. I am going to buy a cooler and add to it as well....just for some added cooling, you might consider it.

I picked up my vinyl graphics, numbers and lettering last night and they fawked up the whole driverside. So I've got to go back today after they recut d-side graphics for me.
SHould have everything to be done and ready to rock. Realized I wont have anytime this weekend, so it will all go down the weekend before the race. :dunno:

I have posted it in many places before, but if ANY of you teams need help or a place to work on your rig just let me know. We are moving in our new house next Friday, and it is 5 miles from Gray Rock. If you need a covered place to park your rig, need shop space to work on it, just want a place to hang out and drink a few beers. Some of the MS guys are staying with us, and I am sure people will be over on both nights drinking and chillin. Anybody and everybody is more than welcome to stop by and use/borrow anything I have. My cell is 205-616-3844

Good luck to everybody

Current casa Paul is slated, but at 5 miles away from Grey Rock we may be running over to your place if we have a problem. Or pending the level of tiredness crashing in the driveway for a nap before fitty races or something..... Thank you so much for the offer!

Hopefully we'll make it!! Damn it gonna be close

We'd love to meet as many folks that we can but I'm sure we'll be flustered from the long drive, new rig, new location and type of racing. So please come find us, introduce yourself and help us relax
