McMaster-Carr is your best friend!
True that I just spent a little over $200 there, but the shear quantity of everything I got kills me. Freaking tabs, and fasteners galore. I got a box full of captured nuts coming just for future uses. M-C is a candy store.

D and M glass in Marrietta,770-419-9292. They say they can do anything ,you give them the measurements they'll cut it , give them a mold and they'll mold it.
I also found a new contact for aluminum skins today. The best thing is that there about 3 miles from me. The thinnest they carry is .026. They have .040 in precolored sheets. I think I payed $48 for a 10x4 sheet of .026.
The company is called alumapanel, their a sign supply company.

Re: P's XRRA Prep thread.

Filled out the paperwork today, left a message on their machine. And waiting.
I had a sea of paper on my desk.
XRRA Membership Forms
W-9 Tax Form
XRRA Event Entry
BFG Sponsorship Papers
BFG Tire Ordering Form
BFG Logo Form

And not just filling them out but talking to Kelly and making sure I had all of his information correct.

My thought was if I do it all now, I won't chicken out when the time comes and blaim it on not being signed up. So I'm throwing my hat over the wall. Bring it ON!!!!

Paul , I saw this on their site "All series runners must have membership forms and fees into the XRRA offices by January 15th to ensure entry. The XRRA will have open entry from January 15th to February 15th or until division is full." So thats what I called about. When do I send in my paperwork. Now? Or after Jan 15?

I'm kinda tripped out about it. I've barely wheeled, making me a huge non-driving bastard. And I've never competed in anything like this before. I've never raced. And I watched some XRRA You Tube and am kinda pumped and a lot scared.

Why am I doing this again? Oh yeah, cause I needed some tires. WTF?
