Any opinions on how the exhaust sounds? It sounds like poo at an idle, but I like it at full throttle. I thought about going to a 1 chamber race flowmaster.

I just took a flowmaster of mine and put a single chamber magnaflo on mine and it sounds 10 times better

The small round style magnaflows sound good. Big Al did that on my 5.7 and I really like the tone at idle and in the gas.

Did you have a 1 chamber flowmaster? Those are small. I run Magnaflow on my diesel and love it, but if I go to the trouble of changing it, It will still need to be LOUD for me to be happy.

I really like my Dynomax Bullet race muffler. It has a great tone not sure if it will be loud enough for you. MagnaFlow does make a great muffler.

No my flowmaster was not a single chamber - it was not loud at all.

Cannot recal the exact size of the magnaflow - it was Junktraders - maybey he will chime in with size as it is still at his house.

the magnaflow is a 3" .the can is about a 4" x 14". it sounds good on Josh's rig.

That wouldn't ever fit. I think I'll stay like I am for now. To much trouble to change. I don't feel like fooling with it. It sounds good WOT.

New axle are in. ( Thanks for the help Noah) We found that the spindle bearing was busted and the spindle swelled out a little. Got it all fixed and parts back together. Also got all the plug wire problems fixed. (hopefully) If I continue to have problems with the shorty headers, I'll have Jimmy, or Big AL to build me some new ones. Here are a couple pics,
