MUCHADO's Toyota build...

hah those are 37" loaners on the toy axles, I snagged the set from my brother... 42's go on when I get the 1 tons back from kelly's shop. I have alot of work to do other than just slapem in that'll happen at the same time... fuel cell, some other stuff that I've had layin around needin' to go in... and cage shortly following.


as for the check, I dunno what ya should do, is yer friend okay??? Like was he hit with the storm?

what are you running for pinion yokes?
just saw on highangle's site that toyota flanges are 109 for a D60 and 289 for a 14 bolt!!! do you have a hook up or what?

I got the front D60 one for free(pbb giveaway) and I'm gonna run a 1350 on the 14 bolt... that's the cheapest way I figure...


since I'm in this thread now... I just ordered rear shocks finally, as well as a 3rd seat. Waiting on my EMJ account to process so I can run some steel quotes and figure how much DOM to order thumb.gif Gonna start the backhalfing soon thumb.gif

EMJ is a good place to deal with. MattS and I bought 500' or so way back in the days of cool shitty built XO cages and non hardcore wheeling. laughing1

My dad has been running stuff through the B/E Aerospace account and gettin good prices, I'm setting up an account so we can run our own prices thru their portal thumb.gif they are very good to deal with... If only steel prices were what they were 5 years ago I'd be rollin in with little cash laughing1

Yeah I think we paid $1.50/ft for 1.75 HREW 7 years ago or so. I recall it being around $750 total. Matt came from Omaha to get it all. Ahhh the days of $1.50 diesel and similar incomes. :'(
 
why not pay the $90 for a 1410 yoke for that 14bolt. Then you only need to buy and or carry 1 spare.

I paid $2.85/ft for 1.75X.120 wall DOM 1 year ago(when I got the DOM for the buggy bail thing) and $1.53 a foot for 1.75X.120 wall HREW thru them, in the last year it's gone up majorly though... My brother's 4Runner is gonna get a cage and same wit me.. Should be cool what we come up with thumb.gif

...because 1350 and 1410 is basically the same thing and I have a driveshaft side 1350 to weldder onto my square shaft... I'll get the ubolt style 1350 yoke and rock out... 1410 is same size joint just longer width wise for more angle.. I don't need that crazy angle for my rear thumb.gif

Updates...

Got the 14 bolt in there kinda half-assed mocked up. Gonna weld the perches on this weekend then yank it out for a thorough cleaning/painting before putting it back in (all to happen this weekend). Will yank front end this weekend start working on putting D60 up there... Gotta go get that from our storage unit.
