HTH does that bike not throw a code without a pipe on there?

Bandit is gone as of Saturday. Just took all the extras off it tonight. Got what I paid for the Bandit, keeping/selling the extras I put on and trading it for an 06 T-umph Sprint ST, ABS, brand new leftover model :fish: :eat: Need to get it broke in before my trip in 4 weeks.

brand new triumph huh? bastard!!! Congrats!

Yea I don't know how the hell it's not throwing code but mad loss of torque ::) ordered that scorpion muffler so we'll get er on next week when that comes in... Oneida Suzuki takes their sweet ass time shipping but has cheapest prices around on parts.

I dig them big tars on that there pick up boi...

I see mad bumpstops in your future or a lot of time with a sawzall laughing1 And holy hoppy hop on the rear shackle 's wild man. Sweet Geebus those things are laid out

You cut the stock pipe off or simply unbolt it? Looks to be cut. If so... ::)

Can't afford to buy/sell/trade anymore. This is it if it goes through i.e. dealer does not piss me off which is likely.

them tars r pure secks, I gree thumb.gif

The shackles are at the exact spot they were for when the 35's and 37's were... and they worked DAYUM GOOD. That's the length alot of people were reccomending on teh evul PBB on some old school builds before all the cali guys went to buggies laughing1 I copied some stuff off-a whitebrowithafro's old red pickup...

Surpised the **** outta me me---not much axle hop (what's there was due to no shocks I'm thinkin laughing1) I got blang bilstein shocks to put on thurr so it should be good now.

I still plan on running long shackles, maybe not THAT long, and moving the mounts back a little + I have some johnny joints from Currie that I'm gonna use at the shackle end.

Oh and yep definetly getting some jigsaw action and dovetail SOON thumb.gif Wanted to get it rolling first :woody:

Cool lookin bike! don't rock those saddle bags 24/7 though!!

To answer your question, yes it's cut off. The stock pipe is welded on, you cannot unbolt it. I followed the instructions for the pipe I ordered---cut 2" above the weld right in front of the muffler. I just got that **** outta the way so I can toss the can on RIGHT when the UPS guy drops er off... ( I also thought running around no exhaust might be cool for a week... I was wrong about that, it was cool for the first 45 minutes laughing1)

"cool for the first 45 minutes " laughing1

It was cool for the first 50 yards, then your supposed to turn around go home and laugh at how silly your being riding around with no exhuast on a newer bike :flipoff1:

( Bones I do like those ST's thats a sexy crossbread sport/touring bike. )

Rob, I will rock those side bags a lot more than most would. With my huge GIVI top case I can go to the grocery store and get food for a couple weeks and a 30 pack. :woody: They pop off in 5 seconds to.

It's the exact same bike I wanted before I bought the bandit and they would not drop much. Now it's 1500 less than that and I am breaking even on what I paid for the Bandit including shipping. Yup have yet to loose money on the VFR or this Bandit. Plus I aquired some gear that I am keeping. Still it's a spendy bike...$13K MSRP with ABS, but I am well under that, out the door, tax/title/license

Agreed. those are functional as hell. Wish I had some invisible saddlebacks on the SV. Wouldn't rock em day to day but I also don't use mine as primary transportation. I'd prolly have a different outlook if I did... those aren't bad looking at all and it's nice they come off so quickly.
