It only took about 4 hours or so but the seat mounts are about finished

Should have the cage 100% finished today :cheer:

Bit more done

Jim is putting a heater in the rig and wanted to make sure he had defrost. He had a great idea to use the dash bar as the vent. He said he would drill those holes for it later but I knew it would have been a pain in the ass so I went ahead and did it before I welded the tube in:

Lots and lots of little dots

I think this bit got a little pissed off :haha:

Of course you need a place for the heater to hook up to

Of course the hardware store was out of the right size bolts I needed :looser:

The GF was tired of looking at my collection of bolts spilling out of everywhere so she started on a project of her own

Just a little FYI you would have been better off using a pvc vent tube over the steel. the steel is a huge heat sink and will suck the hot air away. I know from other jeepers from my side. the plastic works better! Nice build though!

Probably so, but if this doesn't work he isn't out anything. :awesomework: He could just put a hose pib on it, drop the windshield and have a portable sprinkler :cheer:

Hey now theres a way to stay cool and beat the dust at the same time:cheer: Now all I need is a 100 gallon water tank in the back:eeek:

BTW I cant make it tonight(club meeting) but I did get the material today. Are you going to home tomorrow night?

If your coming with the last bit of material I will be sure to be there. :awesomework:

Almost there :cheer:

Front reciever so Jim could move his trailer around the yard easier. I sliced the support between the spring hangers and mounted the reciever to the bottom of the bumper. Jim made the bumper so he could remove it with a couple of bolts so instead of just being able to weld the support to the reciever I made a couple of tabes for the supports to tie it all back together.

Test fitted the tire and about popped a nut. It even spins :haha:

Finished up by making the pins to keep it open and shut :awesomework: Put little cables on the pins so they can't get missed placed at the wrong time.
