Yeah I don't have a rig, so I can park out of the way somewhere. We will probably run out of space at some point, but I think there is enough parking space if you pile people in an organized way. Now will there be space for people to park, and set their tent and fire pit up next to their tow rig/trailer? Hell no, but camping is there problem they can always use their trailer deck. I think it will be tight and we can probably get 80-90% of the people in without issue. We might have to get creative after that. If we go in with the attitude that it is impossible and can never happen, then it damn sure never will.....

I'll be there Friday midday and am staying at the Wingate also. I was thinking of not bringing the Toyota just for the parking situation.
I have not wheeled in months and would like to have it but no toy = two free spaces (toy & trailer) and I can get around in the LJ
OK if its not to wet.

I just rode around the route we talked about bringing the tow rigs in. I don't think it is going to work. The gravel is VERY narrow, it is not as wide as a dually. The gravel is close to the trees in the turns making it so that a long vehicle (motorhome, travel trailer, or gooseneck) will have to be completely in the dirt to make the turns. I feel it MAY be possible today. But after it rains, there is no way anything pulling a heavy trailer will do that route without 4x4.
Just a heads up.

Hey, I have interent access on the phone. ;D

Well, I'm getting pissed alright. Went up two weekends ago to survey the parking lot. Made a scale drawing or the area, the layout, and a potential overflow area. The next weekend I went back to lay it out on the ground. Used 3000 feet of caution tape but could not finish because trees still had to come down, stumps ground, roads graded, and grass planted. I left the drawing there so someone ccould lay out the parking. I don't know what else to do except be there early tomorrow. That is if it's not already ****ed up. I've already had a couple of calls.

All is good now. Early tomorrow when folks start comng in, we will see. Now, I have not ventured past the bathhouse at all, but don't see many people out there yet.

Wish I could get there sooner to help... sorry fella's but Ill be there EARLY Saturday morning and ready to do work thumb.gif

Your late P, I stuck the tow rig and had to get winched out on flat ground laughing1

First day good. TK broke a rear axel. Anyone comng up have a Dana 60 (Dodge or Chevy) passenger rear axel. Or a magnet to try and get it out. If so, and you read this post up and bring it with you. Owl **** ain't got nothing on this traction.

Talked with the owner, owners wife, and one of the builders of the RTC rig. All had a good laugh. Talked to 80Toyota, same thing. The rig really does not look like Timmies. 80Toyota said one person is still mad that will be here tomorrow. But he said nothinhg will happen, he will see to it. I'll find him ASAP. Thre are a some bad looks when I crawled V-Notch got out and said "Who owns this rig". Funny, the wife was the first to come up. The RTC shirts look cool they are sporting.

See yall tomorrow.

Guys, we rocked the **** this weekend. Everybody came to work and we did a good job. I think everybody that was there would say it was much better run than last year. Awesome time!

I agree that CAOS did not particpate and it looks shitty for them, but why did we have to point it out on their site? I responded to JRose because I am tired of watching him run his cock sucker on the web. He is a douche and needs to STFU. We don't always have to point out that our club is more involved and committed than theirs, everybody already knows it. ;D

I will admit, it makes me mad that "the biggest club in the SE" with "over 70 members" can't come out to one of Alabama's major offroad parks and show support. What's worse is they had a "club ride" at Wilborn's on the same day as this event and chose "to give members a choice" on where to ride. So they all go to show an ATV park support where beer cans are tossed around and rednecks mud whomp in the back of pickup beds. ::)

I don't know why it bothers me so much that CAOS sucks, but it does.

I got the attendance at Wilborn from Jimmy. He, too, is unhappy with the club. WAY too much drama within the club and no ride participation. Not being a member, I probably should not post my opinions on their forum. However, I beleive their membership could benefit the sport by supporting our regional riding areas, wherever they may be. Sorry for trying to impose my view on others. I guess I'm as guilty as Alabama Ranger for talking POLITICS. Oh yeah, they had 4 members at Wilborn. Big turnout.

I agree that CAOS is a slack ass club with one thing on their mind, MONEY. The people in power there rub me the wrong way (excluding Jimmy). For example here are the PM from Jonica and her hinchman Sherilyn I recieved today:

From Jonica
Please get your facts straight before you post. CAOS did not give a price to MMORV, I did, It had nothing to do with CAOS. I am an Event Coordinator on the side. Randy contacted me to run, coordinate & provide volunteers, so that all they had to do was show up. I gave him a price from me NOT CAOS.

CAOS has never made anyone pay for their help and never will.

The funniest is from Sherilyn
It is obvious that you don't like any of us CAOS people why are you even posting on our site? Keep your little snoty remarks to your self, especially when everyone knows that the pluck the duck ride was not a success. You are just being RUDE!!!!!

Will I reply? Hell no, but it is funny how you can see they even know they are wrong and PM almost immediately after I post.
