The snawsage version---- something

Mike, Bring the resevior to your work and I'll pick it up and hopefully have a few more parts for you.

I read this too late----I won't be able to get this off till tonight

What kind of service is this!!!!! I expect you to be up at 1:30am checking to see how to please your customer...............

ABSOLUTELY UNEXCEPTABLE!!!

Ok here are the loads on the rig...

Taurus fan
On start:95 amps
Running:35 amp

Both p/s cooler fans
On start:26.6 amps
Running:10.8 amps

Trans cooler fan
On start:15 amps
Running:6.1 amps

Headlamps
On start:13.8 amps
Running:8.7 amps

52 amps for cooling. 61 amps with lights. That's a bunch.

Any idea how many amps that alternator puts out at trail-type RPMs.

If it's hood clearance, I have two thoughts on the air cleaner.

1. cut the hood, bend it up as a little hood scoop and have Corey weld some pieces in the sides.

2. Route it with some PVC pipe or 4"-5" exhaust through the firewall, or up high.

For now just run the current one without the hood

Well robin stopped by work today to grab the res tank--and dropped off some parts.

All giddy to get the front brakes done--I ripped---that----really--heavy--tire--off

****!!!!! The cores I gave them were the same bolt pattern. My fault for not checking. I'll get some others and swap you out.

Bye the way...those little tires are not heavy. wait til I make you play with the 49's on 20" heavy duty double beadlocks

PS res will be done Monday, a new fitting is coming from Portland.

Monday--that aint good enough :fawkdancesmiley: :fawkdancesmiley: :fawkdancesmiley:

I got hop laps and rides for $$$ to do :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: around the block...

Thats fine--I have other stuff to finish up...

tomorrow I will have a front dirveshaft:D

And hopefully brakes.

If your working, bring the brakes and I'll swap ya with the correct ones and give you the new shaft. What are you hours?

I believe it's 8-5 tomorrow cause we usually ride together on the sat that he works but aren't tomorrow.

Ok so I thought about what a few of you guys had said about pulling against yourself with a smaller rear winch (snatch block basicly). So I sat and looked at it and thought--ya that makes sense. So then I looked at the rig--and damn its just really tight with how high the truss sits/how little room between the truss and the diff and how little room between the truss and tube for the sway bar....

So I finally came up with an idea--that should work,lol...

So digging thru the stuff robin brought me--I found a pulley that looks like it will do the trick. So I then made a bracket that sits on the bottom side/to the front of the truss..

The little tab you see it to key the bracket that wraps around the mount--to give it strength and help retain the cable to stay on the pulley--and give it some room to slack....

I also made tabs to hold the cable on the back of the chassis..

But here you can see how the cable sits. I have also rounded all the edges of the brackets so hopefully the cable will pop back into the pulley..

After done I ran it up/down. I have to agree its alot smoother and more controlable...

Well if nothing else that should make it much easier for him to park it in his garage. Squat to clear the door :haha:
