P and Miles, and Wyatt and Kelly did an AMAZING job in thier first race. P ran into lots of issues but always repaired and was ready for the next run. Wyatt was having great runs, the rollover recovery by Kelly deserves huge props. It's literally exhausting to do that kind of work fast as you can(as I found out today) and he did an awesome job. My favorite thing I heard was after Wyatt got righted the cloud of smoke was huge and Wyatt goes "I can't see a #&*#( thing!" and Kelly says "JUST GO!" and then Wyatt rolls again. Funny. molaugh

It was hard as hell. No one had an advantage, seemed like a lot of luck. Damn near everyone had breakage. We had repairs between EVERY single race.

1st run, cut a sidewall
2nd run, sheared a shrader valve off of and airshock, and shattered the hood. Levi Shirley gave me a whole airshock to use, but Adam Carter came through with a spare Shrader, and Shirleycame through with a new HP valve core for it.
3rd run, I bent my right front airbump straight out the front of the chassis.
4th run, exploded the front d-line pillow black, and it clearanced everything around it.

Every single system got severed, it even ripped my gauges out of the dash, and switches out of the floor.

It was hard but fun.

What was sick, was when Kim landed that wheels down, she immediately powered into it, and headed back up the hill until they flagged her for going out of her lane. Totally insane to have seen it. I only regret missing Levi's catastrophic.

i have got TONS of videos....and some pics...ill post them up tomorrow....i got kims rollover we were right next to her.. standing on the hill...i also got a souvenir...a front axle shaft piece...like the ear of it broke off and hit a guy right next to me. but he ended up keeping the peice....ill post a video of the rig it came off of and it hitting the guy.

Cole thanks for deaming us camara worthy. Sorry about the mud on that 3rd run. It really messed with your auto focus, but not like that would have mattered with all that smoke. molaugh
