Primer is uuuugggaly. Still undecided on the color scheme.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

i would move them out. what little bit of height you lose the drive train should take care of when in stalled

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Looks like you could move the tabs on the axle out to the ends and adjust the coils the rest of the way up front to level it off. :dunno:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

or you could just move them out and mount them on some longer tabs ( and box them in). that way you keep the same hieght it is now.
should be pretty simple and quick

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Im gonna put in the drive train and see how it looks. I've been by the shop today and the pic is a little different than in person. I talked with Jimmy today and I just gonna try it before I change it. That way I'll only change it once if it's not what I want when it's back at ride height.

Just remember this, cut it once, cut it twice, it's still too short. thumb.gif :flipoff1:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Well here goes some more update pics. Thanks for the advice everyone on the shocks. That has been taken care of. Also implemented my new double shear steer arms. When completed they should be very strong. I just have to drill and tap the tops of the arms for the bolts to connect to the center support, which is welded to the knuckle. This way I have double sheer and the ability to take the arm off the knuckle easily.

The rear shocks where at 4 degrees of angle before. We put to guys on the side of it, and it went negative on the angle by 3degrees. We moved the shocks out to 12.5 degrees positive angle and when pulled all the way down it went down to 4 degrees. Ride height was not compremised. Look at the difference.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

looks good man cant wait to see you on the trail you will love it.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Mucho better, a small change like that will help a lot in stability

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Thanks guys. I can't wait to get it done to. Finished the steering, I'll have some pics up tomorrow, it turned out the way I wanted it to. I talked to Matlock today, gonna get the EOR guys a list of needs for some pricing in the next day or so.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

I love the work man, I think you should somehow do the CoorsLite colors, like a tribute, maybe a metallic silver or red frame with siver or red suspension

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Thanks Nate. I do want to do those colors. Prolly will :dblthumb:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

From that last picture, it looks like you might have some driveline issues where that upper link goes back to the frame? :dunno: Prolly just the angle of the picture though. I agree with the Silver Bullet paint job. Just wouldn't be right without it. :dblthumb:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Pic angle I'm pretty sure. I haven't noticed anything strange looking until this pic, but I do see what your talking about. I agree, I love the original paint scheme. :****:
