Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Got my radiator, pedal assembly, and propane tank brackets in Friday. Should hopefully have the engine and tranny at the end of this week. I can start putting some junk in place soon. :dblthumb:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Who did you get your propane kit from - I am pricing a few this morning and they are a bit more than I thought they would be.

Also just curious - what's the roof line height the way it is setting now?

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Haven't got a kit yet. Roof line is 77 and 1/2"s now

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Yeah, definately. Thanks Drake. More pics to come. I have the radiator and propane tanks mocked up. Also picked up a smoken deal on a impco 425 system yesterday.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

I am kind of a big guy and that passenger seat looks a little small for me see if you can fix that problem before it hits the trail because you know I have to ride in it...... :****:

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Got some rubber today. I got Mike G's TSL's. Not new, but still in good shape.

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Damn Kelly, your getting picky in your old age and need some new Beer goggles. No gullet, no stiff leg, pencil erasers at attention, I agree, not the best of Bonita flats. But, not a bad paint job either. :cougar: flashemifyougotem hitit

Re: (Long way to go) Silver Bullet 2

Silver Bullet 2

loller.gif Got the engine, trans, and t-case mounted in. Sat her down to about 72inches at the tallest bar. Still has several pounds to be added though, + two people hopefully will get her on down towards 70".
Got my gears, yokes, and shaft material. Should be getting really agravating now :****: I'll post pics sometime when I get a chance.

Re: Silver Bullet 2

Been meaning to ask you - are you going to run just on 425 mixer or two - I am thing just one may not be enough for me but I am way behind the curve on this propane stuff.

Re: Silver Bullet 2

Just one. I know a guy on the board here who ran two, but that was on a healthy big block. 425 is what everyone with small blocks I've talked to are running. :dblthumb:

Re: Silver Bullet 2

Got the gears, brakes, and pedal assembly done, also got the drivelines cut and mocked up. Just like all the welding now. Once again, no time for pics. I'll post them when I get time.

Re: Silver Bullet 2

looks good, but those pics are huge.
You cut those tires or buy them already cut?

Re: Silver Bullet 2

I cut most of them myself, the centers were already done I just cleaned the centers up a little, and did the outsidestread and sidwalls. How do I reduce the size of my pics?
