D'oh! I shoulda looked at the pic!
So here's another question to ask yourself Wildman. Do you like the RPMs at hiway speeds? Or, is now the time to re-gear both diffs?

Ohh- you sneaky lil devil you :redneck:
So my statement still stands corect
I've been mistaken before.
But if memory serves me correctly, when you bought those, they were being sourced through OEM manufacturers.
Well after all the crap I took off people for running that wimpy HP44 front axle!!:fawkdancesmiley: :fawkdancesmiley: :haha: :haha:
And to think I have blown up TWO D60 ring gears in FOUR months!! :booo: :booo:
So any advise at this point? Should I go with a LP60, LP70, 14bolt? How about sending the gears to Longfield and having them Cryo'd?
Lets hear some ideas.
My full float 9" holds up just fine :corn:

"ring gear" :awesomework:
I knew you would be first in line to say something.
Wasn't it you who questioned my HP44? Well it ain't broke yet. But the almighty D60 sure has. So other than your 9" you got any other advise?
Your 60 is breaking for a reason...which makes no sense if the 44 is holding up to the same abuse.
Either "your" 60 is a one of a kind POS or the gears are just not getting setup right.
Call the 60 manufacturer and start there.

Go back to page 4 and see what Tera's reply was to me. Any comment on the Cryo treatment by Longfield? Yes I'll be calling them tomorrow.
