There is nothing wrong with constructive change and I would support it. In fact that is what I think is happening "CONSTRUCTIVE CHANGE", so lets help it along.

Some of you (not directed at anyone specifically) may think I'm against you and this may or may not be true. Something you need to know is if your going to be the leader of anyone you need to gain their trust and respect. Until you do this your no leader. Until you try to do this you can't assume someone is with or against you.

we got bullied down here. They told us it would hurt to come in crowds.
We came in crowds and the DNR got the hint and the restriction was thrown out the window.
Just from my experience with the dnr.
When 2,000 angry folks show up to find out why their favorite riding/wheeling area is going away it will wake them up as to how big of a problem they are going to have when they put in gates.

Its hard to gain trust with the "you have to be in the know and invited"n thing going on.
Nobody trusted the folks handling the DNR issues here untill Steve got involved and it was loud too. People trust Steve. The dnr was suprised at how many people cared enough to show up and protest this crap.

It may be against what RTW has going, but i don't see how showing up in massive numbers could hurt. Just out of curiousity, how will a large showing of people who care hurt?
In my own personal experience, actions speak louder than words. 3-5 guys talking is words, and large numbers of users showing their presence is action.
When the users outside outnumber the entire meeting, people take notice.

I'm anything but "Local", and i CARE what happens there. It affects me directly. I'll bet most users of Reiter, are not local. So how does only letting local's put in their .02c help the rest of us?
Would we let everyone in Olympia pick the governer since they are the locals?

I planned on attending the one on the 20th of OCT. I may attend the one in NOV. I am in the NAVY and live in olympia So if I do not have DUTY or have to work I will be there.
I am really tired of responses such as "will you attend"
When I do get a chance to attend I get told not to.

why is the meeting somewhere other than reiter?
Wouldnt it make sense to have a HUGE meeting at the lot where the users are?

The upcoming meeting is oct 20th, (DNR will tell a LIMITED few that Reiter will close Nov 2)
DNR closing Reiter on Nov 2nd
Public Meeting about reiter is Nov 18th?
So DNR is having a public meeting about reiter (which will be shut down) 16 days after reiter is closed?....... DNR is not telling us everything!
When they tried to LIMIT Elbe, Elbe was still open when they had a Public meeting, correct?
A public meeting two weeks after Reiter is closed will provide nothing for the users. DNR got what they wanted before the Public can say anything. So sad
I take blame at this because yes I have gone to clean ups but I truly haven't done everything I possibly could to keep it open......

I do not believe this is true You can correct me if I am wrong But Money has allocated to reiter. This money was to make reiter a Sanctioned O.R.V park this money has to be used for such purposes. If seasonal closures are in happening. It may be due to the enviromental impact during the WA rainy season. I do know to much about it though.

The elbe deal was a true public meeting for public input--the meeting on the 20th is not that.
When I get a chance I will let you guys know what I know so we can calm some of the mis-cumunication on the subject (reiter is not closing for good than I do know).
