My 321 Build

I would run the SpiderTrax stuff and never think twice about it. I tried to buy them for my front 60 but they won't work with regular 60 knuckles.

i had to use needle noise pliers :****:

same here! those snap rings on the Tera flanges are bad mofos! not much chance of 1 breaking though. LOL.

My toggle panel came in from 12voltguy.com . He makes an awesome product. Complete with wiring harness and winch kit. I also got my center console built to house the toggle panel. I still have some cleaning to do but it turned out nice. I can reach the kill switch easy with harness on. That was my biggest concern in case I flip.

Yes he does make the bling as far as switch panels go. Hey how many gallons is that fuel cell. I found a smokin deal on a 10 gallon but I think that might be too small for my big foot.

It is 11 gallons. It is plenty big enough for all the parks around here. I will have to see how the 6.0 sucks fuel before I know if it is worthy of a long trail ride. But I do believe it is big enough. I think JR Hall's was 12 gallons and he rode at WITC for the whole weekend. I always keep gas in the truck also.

The 6.0's like the gas. Mine gets around 10 miles per gallon with 35's, 20's, and 4:11 gears.

I had a 25 gallon in my Jeep and I never got close to empty after a couple days of riding. Same tire size but different gears . Also it was a LT1 . I will have to keep an eye on it the first few rides.

So I haven't posted in a while. My side gears are at Spidertrax so they can cut the correct splines in the Ultimate 4340 Axle. From everything I have read on Pirate these are very good if you run ctm or 300m joints. If they spit a joint it will take out an axle. I got my front brakes done. Rear main line ran down the frame. I got the throttle pedal installed and cable hooked up. Oil Accumulator Plumbed. And finally all of my wiring harness sensor hooked up or the correct sensor to hook them up.
Today I removed all the interior. Hopefully for the last time. I used a DC to sand the aluminum giving it a brushed look. I might get it line-x before summer to help cut down on heat. Might use the dyno mat first then line-x over it. I ran all the major wiring from the battery to the console. I ran 4 gauge to the starter. 0 gauge for the ground to the chassis and 0 up to the console. The positive is also 0 gauge up to the console. Then it splits off to 4 gauge and smaller.

So with my primary wiring done . What is everyone putting relays on? I know Fans and lights. but what else? Is a 30 amp relay enough for the radiator fan and 2 small oil cooler fans? Or do I need to do a 30 amp for the radiator fan and say a 20 amp for both of the oil cooler fans?

What type of interior lighting is everyone using in the buggies? What brand HID front lights. I am thinking of oval front lights.

i would run them separate, fans draw pretty good amps
and diffenently carry a spare(had one go bad yesterday with no spare) :woot:

Yeah that was the thought. I am an electrical maintenance tech and understand the need for a spare.. So when doing wiring I always run spares and put a spare in the system. I was going to have 1 30 amp wired up with the input and outputs left off so I could just simply move the wires over in case something took a dump. I have room under the console.
I forgot about the arb. I am going to have to purchase the compressor and will need one for that as well. The little stuff adds up quick...

headlights are over rated... :****:

I am running a mini mag light interior light, and two small fog lights for the front.

Here is some pictures of the brakes, gas pedal and interior. Oil Accumulator, ARB, Center Console Panel painted and wired, etc. Not really picture worthy stuff but it is part of the build. As for the Steam Port on a Gen 3 I had a bung welded in my radiator so it could be plumbed in right. All I like on the buggy is finish wiring, coil over springs, exhaust and my rear axle shafts from spidertrax.

ARB Hooked up. Purchased from EOR

It is hard to see but steam port hose goes in a couple inches below the filler neck below the overflow hose.

And this is all from PSC Motor Sports. Big thanks to Lance. I sent them an accessory bracket. They cut it down, fitted a huge pump with massive return line and a reservoir custom made for this pump. The return line is a -10 AN , If not this big the pump will scream. This pump isn't for sale on the site yet but I am sure if you would like one they would be more than happy to help you out. I will do a full write up on this pump and how well it performs. I wanted a pump that would put out enough for a rear steer setup.

Also JR Van Ortwick that raced KOH has them in the rear of his buggy and he has spidertrax knuckles also.

There is 2 different series knuckles from Spidertrax. Woodlee couldn't run them in his cause he had the same type I did. No big deal now just hope to have the spidertrax by New Years.
