wont work do you wont to sell yours i want to try some new designs and wold like to c their look before bending and welding

No thanks. I use it to teach my students blueprint reading.

Changed up the drivetrain a bit. I am using all tracker stuff and one sami case. So behind the 1.6 will be the tracker 5 speed and I am cutting the front output off the tracker t-case and welding in some aluminum plates to cover up the hole. That makes everything from the motor to the 1st tcase one unit, then the rear case will be mounted divorced. Its a little higher geared but I think it will work better with the front case being straight through instead of offset. So the new gear ratio is 74:1 in 1st double low instead of 90:1, but it should be much stronger.

Got my seat mounts drawn up tonight, going to cut them out tommorrow. The inquary puts them at 9 lbs a peice.

In. I might make another set that isn't as layed back. Its realy comfortable, I guess it just looks weird cause the back of the chassis isnt there yet.

Looks good but you need to ditch those seats. Those are a back injury waiting to happen. There is a thread on here about a guy who ran them and messed his girlfriends back up pretty good.

I know, I know. This was more of a need to have seats for the time being. Its no big deal to change them out when I get farther along.

We also go a lead on a 99 Isuzu rodeo motor and tranny for it, 215 hp and 230 ft. lbs of torque........hmmmm this could get interesting.

Thanks!

Not much done tonight. Got the side dash bar/a pillar gussets in. I am going to run a peice of 1.75" .063 tube between the bottom of the a pillar braces to mount a nice flat dash on. Also I scored a set of 14" fox air shocks tonight. I will probably use coils up front. Ordering my heims and my 2" aluminum hex tommorrow for the links. Motor will be done by the weekend so I can swing the drive train in and see where all my links need to go. Hope to have axles under it in the next few weeks.

Here is the plan for tommorrow. I ran out of gas tonight so I'm calling it quits early. The red tubes are where the dash will go. Bend Tec makes this so easy. I can cut and cope a tube in about 10 minutes with nothing but a 4" grinder and a cutting disk.

Here is what I came up with for the back half. My airshocks will be in next week so I can test for clearances. Opinions welcome.

Looks very much like the back half of mine, but this has more way more tubing= more weight. I love the overall look though. :dblthumb:

Joe came over tonight. We got the back belt line tube bent. Word of advice. Air over hydraulic plus 1 gallon air compressor = drink 4 beers before one tube gets bent. Remember that kids. :****:
